Game Plan: Ok boys what do we do about Chris Johnson And Vince Young?

I think the fact we got MJD and Garrard 1 week before the titans could be a good practice round.

blitz the living crap out of them, they wr's don't scare anyone (like our own) but those 2 are going to cause major problems for us. johnson in the screen game worries me as well

Take them to Skyline Chili so they have a Vernon Carey's worth of diarrhea.

Actually I am more worried about their TE's. Really.

We need to do some blitz plays for the corners while having a lb spy and maybe the end on the opposite side of the blitz contain. Vince might be better in the air this year, but he doesn't give me nightmares.

im sure we practiced containment for a running qb for the Jax. game. with johnson, hes gonna get his yards. the key is to hold them to field goals when they reach the red zone. young may not even play, however either way our seconday needs to tighten up!

This is going to be a tough game.......Tenn is playing good ball right now, with nothing to lose......chris johnson speed scares the hell out of me.....we can not afford to turn the ball over in this game, we have to put points on the board and limit the time Tenn has the ball.......this will be the last road game in the regular season, we have to stay focused........

This is December football boys, whoever punches the other team harder is gonna come out on top.

We need to pay extra attention to Johnson..I dont really trust any of our Line backers on him.... We really dont have to worry about screens beacause we play man....But def have to worry about him breaking tackles...If he breaks one tackle it could turn into a td

Whether Vince Young plays is crucial.

He's just such a weapon in the run game, and we really aren't going to match-up well against a guy like that. We had trouble with David Garrard's mobility at times yesterday but with Young, it's that times 10.

I think if Kerry Collins plays, the game becomes a lot easier. Not a lock for us to win, Kerry Collins isn't the greatest QB of all-time, but he's serviceable. He'll torch us if we don't pressure him, but he'll turn it over if we do.

Chris Johnson does scare me, but if we can play like we did yesterday, move the ball well, control the clock, and take a nice lead early. I don't think he'll be much of a factor.

We have to be the most physical team on the field no doubt. I like the approach our defense had against Jax. The DL and LBs just plugged every gap and waited for MJD to come within grasp, which is actually what the defense should do this week. We can't be too aggressive against Chris Johnson because he will make you miss, so we need to sit in every gap and wait for him to come to us, keeping his gains to a minimum. (Containment Approach)

The other problem is on passing downs, the WRs are no different than Jax's WRs. The only one with deep speed is Nate Washington, and he doesn't get that many balls thrown his way. Our DBs should keep them in check, but while they are doing that, we need to have one of our LBs spy on Vince Young the whole game to avoid any cheap first downs made by his scrambling.

Its going to be a hard fought, and very physical game.
