Let me start by saying I was never sold on Gase as a coach, thought he was a product of Peyton Manning.

I still believe we can win with Tannehill but would look to upgrade. Upcoming draft and free agency looks slim at the QB position so I would roll with RT17 for next year as well.

But as the thread topic says, why does it seem no matter who we play, we seemingly have the same game plan week in and week out? There has literally been nothing different between week 1 and week 5. We haven’t tried to expose the other teams weaknesses, seriously we drafted a freak at TE and it’s like the seam route is not in his route tree.

When we put it on the Patriots last year in Miami it looked like a completely different offense and New England had no idea how to defend us. We were exploiting there backers and had so much creativity that I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

At this point I would back up the Brinks truck for Lincoln Riley out of Oklahoma. His offense is dynamic and reminds me a lot of Sean McVay. Remember the rams and Goff looked like garbage with Jeff Fisher they are now 5-0 with a MVP caliber QB because there offense is so hard to game plan for.

GASE HAS A GAMEPLAN??? Never seen one! OK, that's too strong. I think this is one topic where everyone on FH agrees . . . Gase is abysmally bad at gameplans, play-calling, and adjustments. Have no idea why? I'm sooooo tired of watching other games and having commentators point out a Ds flaws, and then say something like 'they're putting x in the slot because no LB can cover him.' Or, 'they're attaching the edges because their top run stuffer is out.' Not Gase. It seems he runs plays just because he WANTS them to work. Even his scripted plays . . . does anyone see him consistently testing weaknesses to see what happens? Does he test matchups? I haven't seen it
