I had to miss the game last night :fire: Who impressed who didn't? Was Feeley un-impressive before he got injured? Thanks.

well feeley got sacked so hes got no movement in the pocket... and a safety wiffed past a eyes locked frerrotte so hes better at avoiding the rush... matt roth is a waste cause he didn't have 4 sacks... derrius thompson dropped an easy one so he needs to be cut... lorenzo diamand had like 40 yards so hes the greatest dolphin ever... and brock berlin is the best QB on our roster UNTIL he had an interception with 40 seconds left in the endzone

Feeley had some serious zip on the ball, Thompson dropped an easy one. Feeley made some nice throws but the WRs didn't help him out. Ricky looked like crap, but I'm not overly concerned...yet.

:rofl3: That seems to be the general concensus on this board!

Thanks (sincerely)

I'm reserving judgement on Feeley. In reading most posts it's Feeley bashing vs. level-headed opinons that take everything into consideration. Not just that Feeley didn't have 200 yards and 2 TD's in his first preseason game against a good Bears Defence. I wonder how Ogunleye did?

Feeley looked feeley like, he didn't play good he didn't play bad. It was obvious that Gus knows the system much better. He was able to move the offense, check down. He looked pretty sharp. Although it should be noted he didn't face the first team defense.

The running game was non existent. We still can't run block. Ricky looked tiny and couldn't keep his feet. Lamar Gordon danced in the backfield as usual. I thought that the o-line did a fairly good job in pass protection. The Bears blitzed more than I have ever seen a team blitz in pre season. Although there were breakdowns I think they did a pretty decent job picking it up. I don't imagine that they were very well prepared for what they faced.

On defense lets just say our secondary sucks. CB is a major concern. Howard is worthless. Daniels looked ok for a rookie. He could be good in the future. Safeties looked weak. Line backers played ok. I liked what I saw from Donnie Spragan, Crowder did ok but has a problem with over pursuing. The D-line struggled. We didn't do a very good job stopping the run. Matt Roth needs work. All he has right no is a bull rush. What I liked about the bull rush though is it never stops coming. He has a good motor and made some plays last night by staying after it. Manny Wright on the other hand look bad. He doesn't get after it at all. The announcers even said he isn't ready for the pros and has no motor. Thats what I say as well.

Boston impressed me. He got out of his cuts well and looked fast. I liked what I say. Booker made a couple of nice catches but dropped one. THompson is worthless. I probably shouldn't evaluate him because im biased. I think he sucks. Gilmore did ok.

All in all im not to disappointed with what I say yesterday. DOn't get me wrong they have a long way to go.

Nice post! Two things that stand out: I'm really glad to hear Boston is looking good, but my worst fear coming true: no improvement in the O-Line. Time will tell but if they don't get better then perhaps we will be in for a long season.

Jeno James played very limited and Middleton didn't play a snap. Im not that worried about it. IMO the o-line did look better. Compared to this point last season it is obvious that we have a much improved line. Ill give them a month of practice together before I get to excited.

What game were you watching? Middleton played alot in the 4th.

Oh yeh...you forgot to add that the sky is falling...Saban's D is pathetic..."Where we are the blitzes??" Our O line is awful..."Houk who?"
And the one thousand reasons why Feeley showed he truly is a "younger Fiedler" and should by fourth on our depth chart behind Brock Berlin who absolutely torched a very game third and fourth string Bears D.

After this game..we will be lucky to win four...and while we are at it..maybe we should just forfeit the rest of the games this year...keep everyone healthy and draft the next Dan Marino..who by the way is guaranteed to exhist in next years draft.

Look I'm rooting for Feeley to start, but unless his pocket awareness improves he'll never be what we need back there and we might as well go with Gus. You have to be able to feel the rush and get out of the way to reset. I didn't see any of that from Feeley. Its' no wonder he got knocked out of the game. That was the Major difference in the QB's IMO...

I wonder what AJ has on those throws that make receivers drop balls. It was the same last year when even Mc Mike dropped a few.
