First of all let me say that i am nowhere near to saying Saban was a wrong move for the organization or comparing him to Spurrier etc. However, we threw the ball TWENTY NINE times! Why in the world would we put the ball in Gus' hands over and over? Asking a career back up to carry the load is a complete joke. Ronnie averaged around twelve ypc, i know much of his 95 yards were on that big play , but still the kid is hot! Eight carries?? huh? Where in the hell are we coming up with the idea that were going to run less than fifteen times? Maybe some of the blame should be on Linehan..either way it doesn't seem like this is ALL the players fault. There have been games where we've got down early and been forced to throw, but friday wasn't one. I've had high hopes for this season, but i am realizing that we do not have the players to win yet. Friday was poorly gameplanned and poorly executed and i for one expect more!

I asked my self that same question, then relized..
We only had the ball like 15 min of the game, we dont pick up 1st downs and it's killing me, 2nd an 1 thow deep 3rd-1 one move the ball get the first Down. Saban or who ever is making the call's are being to impaient, We haft to pound it a little bit keep getting first downs don't try to score every play take your shots 5 or 6 times a game but you still haft to drive the ball down the field with some nice long time consuming drives that helps the D alot also. ahhh that's just mop anyway.....
