GAMEWEEK thread! Pats vs. Dolphins

I'll go on record with 3 guesses

27-20 Pats is my first guess from my brain, and knowing we just seem to fall short

31-28 Phins, great game and a late score wins us the game, because the game should be competitive, reggie, henne, and marshall lift us to victory.

41-24 Phins, We really come out and set the tone, Reggie going mad from the flats and a wheel route, Henne hitting everyone and connecting with Clyde on a deep bomb.

Sorry .. you only get one.

After all it's just a guess.

Henne 2 tds 0 ints 25/35 300 yards. Brady suffers a concussion from a Cam Wake sack and abruptly retires from football

Well I look at it this way, 99.8% of the time guesses like that are off.

If I set my mind up for failure, but still have belief, it doesn't sting as much.

And also I stopped posting predictions or telling anyone what I believe because it always seemed to go the other way. So if I cover all aspects, one of them has to come true. Then watch its 52-7 patriots and I cry myself to sleep.

Probably drop to 5 1/2 being Monday night and all. Take the points.
It's more important to us than it is to the Brandy bunch and I think we win.
I dont think that line is going down... Most people who are not fins fans will bet NE with a 7 line, it'll go up so someone actually bets the fins IMO

Line is 7? Anyone know what it was last year against the Pats? Something tells me it was more than 7......someone must think we are better, or they are not as great......

I hated opening on Monday Night last year, waiting another full day to see the 1st game. Go phins this week!

As a Pats fan I wouldn't mind that at all, but the reality is the Phins always seem to give the Pats a hard time in Miami. I expect the same here, and when you add to the fact that it's the first week of the season and neither of these teams are yet what they will be after say week six. I would say a close game won by either team by no more than 4 points. But then again it's football, who knows????

He struggles when you get to him so that's my biggest key too. If you can pressure him with 4 guys, you've got a good shot at slowing that offense down. Take advantage of the mistakes Brady makes under pressure ie: actually hold onto interceptions and give our offense a short field at some point in this game and I think our passing game can put some points on the board. If I were Mia I wouldnt worry about establishing the run early, just run your best plays to get an early TD.

Key to victory.

I'm amazed at the many of you I've seen saying Henne is going to break out this season, seeing as your team desperately tried to trade for Orton this preseason.

I know you are trolling here, but desperately is a little strong. If they were desperate Orton would be here. A desperate team would have given up the 2nd round pick and paid Orton the 9 mil per he wanted. They certainly tried to acquire Orton, just not desperately.

I think Chris Mortensen is the only ESPN "expert" that picked Miami.
