Garrard on top?

I thought the press were only allowed to watch like the first ten minutes of OTA's, or were they only allowed to tweet & post during the first ten minues?

Based on their interviews Garrard sure seemed more relaxed and confident, but that doesn't mean diddly.

If Garrard does win out, what happens if he gets injured?

Moore or Tannehil?

I do not think that Tannehill is even being considered as ready anytime soon. I expect the starting position to waver from Garrard to Moore and back. We have two good veteran QBs and allow the best one to win. One will start an the other will be breathing down his neck to play. In a perfect world, Moore will win the starting job giving Garrard more time to heal, trying to come back to soon from a back injury is a risk best not taken.

Its not a surprise that hes doing better than Matt Moore, but that's not saying much. While I know a lot of people were rooting for Moore b/c of last season, Garrard was pretty good when he played. Either way, Tannehill is the future, so we will be having another QB battle next year..

All Moore's coaches have said that he doesnt practice well but in game time lights come on and he just starts tearin it up.

He tore it up in one game where our Defense kept setting him up. The guy averaged less than 200 yards passing per game, barely a TD a game, and disappeared in the 4th Quarter. Those are facts, I don't care what his QBR is.... He has never been a guy who tears it up.

He made me tear up a few times with his fumbles though!

IMO..Nublar is correct.
Matt Moore is not a guy that shows well in practice, he does much better in games.
The preseason games will be the best indicator.
I am still skeptical that Garrard can hold up for the season. I hope he does.
Having Moore and Garrard competing will make both play better.

Won't matter last year Matt moore sucked at practice.... and still turned out to be a pretty good fill in let see after preseason where they stand. Plus Garrad's cap hit is alot higher then moore's.
