Garrard: We Had a Shot At Him After They Drafted Lefty

One game does not make him good and I still think Leftwich is better then him.
 
There's more than one win there, and that's the reason why Lefty will never play in jax again.
 
You can name a million players the Dolphins and other organizations have missed in the draft. No sense in bringing this guy into the conversation when he's just one of many teams have missed throughout draft history!
 
I believe back when Wannstache was head coach they inquired about trading for him, but Jacksonville's asking price was reportedly too high (although for a team that eventually gave up a 2nd for AJ Feeley that's almost hard to believe).

A lot of teams have liked this kid for years now. It wouldn't surprise me if he winds up keeping the job.

The only thing that does make him better is his scrambling ability but as a passer Leftwich is better.
 
Also guys Jacksonvilles WR's were WIDE OPEN today. It had nothing to do with the height advantage either it was just bad coverege. If I had a better arm I could have gotten the ball out to some of them.

Nope:shakeno: ...not the case...Byron's release takes to long to deliver....there offense is much better with gerrard.

Eh, forget Gerrard.

We had Brees available at our fingertips 2X and screwed up 2X. Our mistakes at the QB position have been legendary since Marino left.
