Garrard will compete with Moore

DAVID F***ING GERRARD....SERIOUSLY! You have got to be kidding me. this is about as pathetic as it gets. Your telling me that this is the best we can get OR this our best plan going forward? Is this a joke? Ireland has no balls and no brain. i live near buffalo and am seriously feeling the urge to start rooting for a team that looks like they are at least trying to get better. I cannot continue to follow this circus we call the Miami Dolphins as long as this A*s hat is making the decisions.
 
This team is a joke. There is absolutely no hope of winning a title, and no hope of a rebuild with no long term planning being done. We are stuck in limbo.

Better than Moore, Smith, and Flynn, why are you guys acting like Gerrard is a scrub? He's actually a pretty decent QB who was cut by a moron. I think if given a chance and if he's healthy , Gerrard will easily beat out Moore.
 
Garrard had a 92 passer rating and made the pro bowl in 2010, so I think he should get a chance to compete with moore.
 
Garrard & Moore will be a good competition ... we'll then have a decent backup.

FYI ... the only QB we have signed for 2013 is Devlin.
 
this forum has become so useless and full of crybabies, Gerrard has better numbers than any of the FA QB's out there, it's his health that was an issue. I'm calling it right now, Gerrard will start next year unless he's still injured. Go look at some of his video's , he has good mechanics , makes smart decisions, and never panics, and has good mobility. He's not franchise QB but a very solid pro level QB. I would rather ride with Gerrard for two years while we groom a backup than go with Moore.

Moore also did well for a 6 game stretch but Gerrard did it for longer and more impressive numbers, I don't know what the hell you guys are looking at, but Gerrard will give Moore a legit battle for starting QB and I think he will make the grade.

We got a very good QB, better than Smith and Flynn for peanuts. Smith and Flynn were never going to be our franchise QB's (especially FLynn) this way we save money and can draft a QB this year. Check out Gerrard's last year before he got hurt, he was very impressive. Does anyone have any inside info why he was cut a week before the season, was it an attitude problem or performance related or Jack Del Rio was a moron, any inside info? It was a shocking move and the move was never explained. . .
 
It does make me laugh though, we need a new QB for Philbins system that requires accuracy and we bring in Garrard? WOW!

His accuracy percentage was 7th in 2010, is there something you know that we don't ?
 
2010 was by far his best year, he is a low 60's guy which isn't bad. However I have watched him play quite a bit being from and stationed in North Florida for 5 years and he is better down the field than he is a WC style offense IMO. I think he still beats out Moore, we will see.
 
He could be our man. Who can know?

I think Moore have a little advantage over Gerrard but it should certainly be a interesting fight between them in training camp. Only thing I feel bad about Gerrard is his chronic back problems. Good is a one-year deal.
