Gase, Coordinators Mic’d Up

Could work if you have a good experienced coordinator running the defense, like a Wade Phillips or a Jim Schwartz, guys that can be the "head coach" on the defensive side. Burke has not shown to be that type, his defense has been terrible for one thing and he's probably more suited to be a position coach than the guy running the defense.

Gase LOOKS like the ocoord? He even talks like it.

“Let’s go kick their ass today.” Here he is referring to the defense. Why as a head coach does he do this? And it’s a daily thing you can bet on it.

Burke on the other hand comes across like a moron.

“You ever play man to man? Because if I call man to man you need to guard your man.” BRILLIANT! He’s like a savant on the defensive side of the ball for us.
