This team is decimated by injuries (time to can the sports science dept) and has nothing but negative press 95% of the time. All Gase has done is go 4-2, and should be 5-1........... This guy is a good coach, and I hope we sign him to a long term (talking 10 years long) deal!

Agree he’s the best coach we’ve had in a long time. But I think he’s going to need a better QB if he’s to bring a championship home, which means we could still be many years away.

I personally wouldn't sign him to a 10 year deal at this point, I would let the year play out.

I find it really weird that Gase does quite a few things that piss me off and make me think "what the hell is he doing!?"... but it's going on year 3 now and every single year the team has won more games than they should have and I wonder... is Gase really freaking lucky, or am I just an idiot suffering under the Dunning Kruger effect who can't understand Gase's brilliance? :ponder:

3-2 was a solid record, we lost on the road to 2 playoff teams, and should have beat 1, the game plan to win was there. People were acting like it was over fire everybody, start over........ Makes no sense, let the guy work!

He’s been outscored by 144 points and the defense/ special teams have been the shining star which he has no control over. If he goes back to Tannehill this week I will be calling for his head again.

The "what the hell is he doing" thought could be said about every single teams fans. Outside of maybe BB, every fan has many of those questioning moments with their coach.

Team is 17-5 in 1 score games since 2016. I don't like some of what he does, but we used to lose a lot of these games.
Have to give him some credit. He really doesn't care what people say or think, he does his own thing.

Gase annoys me with some of his playcalling, but you have to give him this... his teams have a great record in close games. That is usually a sign of good situational coaching.

Credit for? Doing what was obvious to everyone of us first?
Constant super slow starts?
Penalties, penalties, penalties...
Still almost blows it in shotgun for no logical reason at 1yd line
Taking 6 games to get a TE involved?
Not adjusting when Young was inserted?
Hey he is dealing with alot due to injuries that I concede but the guy (until yesterday) doesn't help himself AT ALL

One week at a time guys. Lets see what happens this week.

He's far from perfect and still learning painful and valuable lessons (sneak it from the 1!) but I have never been more optimistic about a HC in my entire life since that POS Saban lied to us (after lying to LSU). Hope he enjoys dominating his lil pond because he's not a big enough fish to deal with things like fair competition and grown men. In Gase I trust!
