what a job this guy and his staff are doing, he seems to be pushing all of the right buttons. I for the first time since Shula 100% believe in this team. They're going to lose again but it won't be because they're not prepared, and they're tough mentally. I remember Shulas first year, this has the same feel people.

As the founding member of the FH Gase fanclub and someone who wanted to hire him from day 1 - I can't say I disagree.

Garrett is probably the favourite, but all he is does is sit back and watch his O Line win game after game :idk:

Gase and Vance are working with chicken **** - they can't quite turn it into chicken salad because you can't make salad out of **** - but they have certainly put it on a nice plate and made it look damn nice for chicken ****!

We still have a few seats remaining on the Gase bandwagon, get on soon or be left behind

Impressive to watch so far, the man gets it. cant wait to see him match up with balt and new england again later on this season.

I have been on the bandwagon since the first day I heard him speak when he was introduced. I can't say that I am always happy with our play calling and play design, but there is more to coaching than X's and O's. IMO, Gase is getting the most out of our guys because he "get's it" and can relate to our players. There is total buy-in. He's smart and is only going to get better because he has the desire and drive to do it. He has the "want to", and our guys have the "want to"; that's a winning combination.

and wait until we get better players, a few more alphas...and its on

not always happy with the WR screens, but at least we saw some of the run pass option stuff mixed in, guess i wouldn't mind as much if we had better execution on them.

Nope, 99% of the time it goes to the league's best team or close to it.

Cowboys are killing it, weren't expected to be that good, are starting a rookie QB and RB, and are one of the most loved media teams there are.

IMO, we have 3 alphas (Drake, Grant, and Carroo) that can't really get on the field much because of the guys ahead of them and their lack of experience is holding them off. I am hoping they improve and can significantly contribute when their number is called. Add some more this off-season and draft and we might really have something.

"We pressured the s--- out of him, and he didn't look bothered" - Dolphins HC Adam Gase on Jared Goff

He is also great with the media

LOL! So true and he doesn't play their games either. He will have a conversation with them about the game or whatever, but if they start pulling some BS he'll move on.

If Carroo can't get on the field then he isn't an alpha. Not saying he's not talented but he isn't an alpha.

Don't want to rain on this parade, but I'll agree. First, I was a Hue Jackson fan . glad I lost that wish. Gase appears to be THE GUY, and I'm slowly buying in. That said, he HAS to drastically reduce these wasted screen plays. Somehow, they fool no one. And he seems far to conservative in play-calling in 1H. Yeah, run JA . . . A LOT, but don't forget the passing game. Other than that, I like the passion and play. Getting more out of the talent than the individual pieces. Been a loooonng time since Miami fans have seen that.

I can't tell 100% but I believe that Gase's play-calling on offense involves a lot of "package plays", i.e. a set of plays which "set up the defense". A simple example would be, he calls a screen three times out of the same formation. When the defense sees that formation for the 4th time, they're thinking screen. Now is the time to throw it deep. It doesn't work that well with the early plays because we are usually out-executed by the defense. As soon as they are fooled by what we're showing them, the offense starts to click.

Bubble screens should either be removed from the playbook, or used exclusively when the opposing defense is clearly not aligned to defend them.

I hate that stupid play.

I wanted him fired after 5 games as the team didn't remotely resemble an NFL product. I'm happy to be wrong - coaching is hiding our deficiencies in the talent department and has gotten the players to believe. Just wow. Did not see this coming at all. Apologies to Mr Gase for any **** I said about you earlier. Go fins!
