I think we get out of that interview that the TE and RB are really important to the offense. He is probably in Lamar's corner and also Cameron just not sure at that price, would assume he will restructure, can't see them taking a 9.5 million dollar cap hit.

Later during his presser, Gase mentioned that the new coaching staff has studied Cameron and "he fits" what the team is going to try to do on offense in 2016.

So, Cameron.

Now, about that cap number. It is possible the Dolphins might try to get a pay cut from Cameron. Or they might try to do an extension for purposes of lowering the cap number this year. Or they might simply go with what they have.

But listening to Gase today, it sounds like Cameron is on the Dolphins in 2016.

Excited to see Gase's E&P system. It will be a complete 180 from the stuck in the mud offseason we've witnessed the past 2 years. Well, under the assumption we fix our oline issues.

Sounds like the dude at least has a clue what he is doing. I hope he can turn us around in a couple years

taking a backseat to tannebaum and grier in personnel...that sure doesn't sound like he has "final say"

so if/when tannebaum drafts or signs junk in free agency there won't be any question who to blame around here

I sure hope when it comes to the o gase practices what he preaches and they do in fact "clean up" the oline
