I keep defending Gase and he makes a stupid statement like that. Does this man knows what he is doing or not? Am I misunderstanding this statement? Did he simplify the defense because of our QB, Oline or both, or are the players not very good? WTF is going on here?

run on first down for no gain, wr screen on 2nd down for no gain, 3 yard pass on 3rd down, punt.....and thats a good drive, sometimes we just lose yards instead of picking up those 3 on 3rd down

im confused tho...these are guys who have played football their whole lives, most played college ball at good football schools qnd have learned playbooks before..why is the offense having to be so simplified? like how complex is this offense that you have to simplify it to the level of a freshman high school teams playbook? whatd gase draw up the plays with crayons and nobody knows what the **** theyre looking at? this makes no sense, this is an nfl team and the offense cant learn a playbook....?
