Gase: The Rams game wasn’t going to overtime.

I like that he's annoyed Parker dropped the interception on the Hail Mary.

Should be. He needs to better locate the deep balls. Even though he was defense that was still a "td bomb" that he should catch. The interception earlier in the game happened because he mistimed his jump. He has to get better on deep balls.

My guess is that the players probably love the gutsy call by Coach Gase. He was rolling the dice for the win and having faith in Tannehill and Parker. The public expression of confidence was in contrast to Joe Philbin (cough, the Green Bay game in Miami), whose natural conservatism probably frustrated some experienced players.

Gase could've picked up on how pissed people got, and rightfully so, at Philbin for his queasy comment after another gutless loss so he could be using that to his advantage.

DVP was shoved in the back immediately before his jump. You can tell by his momentum that was stalled in mid-air and it wasn't a natural trajectory for the jump he took.

How has nobody mentioned his unwavering trust in RT17?

He said in the 4th quarter he doesn't see how anyone from the media can come to the conclusions they have about Tannehill, he has nothing but confidence in him. Then sticks it them by saying it makes him question their evaluation and he's happy none of them are in the personnel dept.

God dammit, I love this coach.

Absolutely.

This wasn't as much about a gutsy call or even winning the game as it was about showing the team that he truly believes in Tannehill. Gase knows he commands respect amongst the players. He is single-mindedly funneling that respect towards Tannehill. Gase sets Tannehill up to win. Gase puts his faith in Tannehill to win. Gase makes sure that the players all know that his trust is fully in Tannehill. Then when he delivers, Gase gives a speech that basically said he was going to ride with Tannehill or die with Tannehill. The players got the message and are believing in Tannehill as well.

Last team to win 5 in a row while losing in the 4th quarter? Tebow's Broncos, who also had Gase.
