I'm starting to wonder if the Gase just doesn't feel like his players on offense are smart enough. He keeps talking about the fact that the players just need to do their job just like BB says to his players in NE but they just keep messing up on every play. I think Mando might be on to something here

The difference i see this year on tape is that unlike last year the qb execution despite guys blowing assignments which was evident on tape last year just like it is this on offense early is much lower. Outside of at cinci tanny didn't let us down in any game and that was even for a half. Cutler carries a bottom 5 grade. Big difference

He seems like he goes out of his way to absolve Cutler of any wrongdoing or himself of just calling an awful game. I can't imagine that must be going over well with the players.
If we have an offense that, if not all 11 on the field do their job, will result in two consecutive shutouts, we have the wrong offensive system. Why do we need to have the most complicated offense in the league while in places like Houston a rookie QB comes in and the offense scores 57 points in a single game after four weeks? Which is more than double that we have scored in 3 games combined.

Okay. If they aren't doing what they are capable of doing I say that's coaching. I still think Cutler is a big problem.

I keep seeing this misperception throughout this forum.
On 2nd down with 6+ yards to go: Jay Ajayi 20 carries for 66 yards Jay Cutler 19/22 for 196 yards
On 2nd down with <6 yards to go: Jay Ajayi 7 carries for 33 yards Jay Cutler 5/7 for 56 yards
I think because we have much more success passing in those 2nd and long situations we tend to remember all the runs that rarely work because they're so frustrating.
No **** Hell, I can throw bubble screens all day long for 10mill.
