Gase very nearly wasn't our coach.....

Never knew how close we may have come to not getting Gase......can you imagine it being reversed and Ol Chipper being our coach??


Jay Glazer just reported on FOX that the Dolphins were lucky to get Gase......apparently, he was packed and ready to go be coach of the 49ers when at the last minute (Glazer said the "11th and a half hour") 49ers management was convinced not to hire him by Trent Baalke.......whew......thank the gods.

He was also on his way for an interview with the Giants before Tannenbaum slithered his way in and convinced Gase to divert down to Miami.

This year was very good when you think about all the fortuitous bounces...Gase, Tunsil, and the teams performances.
