Today's game was a bitter pill!
Even the owner was saying "WTH?"
We fought our way back, only to muff the game away.

What does this bode for next week?
We play the Steelers in Pittsburgh...and even if we win...we'd have to go back to NE to get beat a 3rd time this year by them.

I'm glad we're in the playoffs. Twenty teams did not make it. One more week of Fin football is nice.

I just hope we're not embarrassed as we were today.
 
It was better to go in healthy than go balls out just for one win that meant little to the season.
 
After several playoff-less years under Sparano and Philbin, and after starting the year 1-4, I'm ecstatic that we're even in this position! If we beat Pitt, that would be awesome! Remember, it's one-game-at-a-time!

It bodes absolutely nothing for next week. This week is over. We hung with them until a bad play swung the game out of reach. Miami appeared poised to make magic happen, but as everyone has been saying, eventually luck and magic runs out on these come-from-behind wins. Well that happened today. So what? Good thing Miami took care of business ahead of time this year and their playoff spot has been reserved in advance. :)
 
Ross needs to assume there is a camera on him at all times. What a buffoon. He would fit right in in the game day threads though. :lol2:
 
It is good to be in the playoffs but we really just need playoff experience. I think Maxwell is the only one on,the roster with real playoff experience. Win or lose next week, we will be better next year for it.
 
There is ONE CONSOLATION to be had from this weekend...and that is Miami would have remained in the sixth seed anyway, even if they had won...because KC is winning their game.

So our path to the SuperBowl is through Pittsburgh and then Foxboro, if we can make it back there.

Thats not a consolation if you hate the Patriots. They will host either Miami or Houston or Oakland. Freebie. If they get real lucky they would host Miami AND Houston or Oakland. Two freebies to the SB.
 
Winning 9 of 10 games, and 3 in a row after losing to Baltimore is not backing your way into the playoffs.
 
We did not back into the playoffs. The bottom line is we were beat by a better team that had multiple advantages. I was very encouraged by scoring before the half and on the first possession. That was an important check mark for me to see.
 
My wife is related to Jack Lambert. Wouldn't be a good way to end the season for me.
