Gates having tough time picking up WC offense

Signing Johnson doesn't mean he makes the team. Bringing him in to compete for a spot doesn't hurt anyone. If he out plays everyone he deserves to play. If he doesn't let him go, no big deal. And as far as letting someone go to open a training camp roster spot, I'm sure there are plenty of options. WR Chris Hogan would be released before Edmund Gates.

I'm sure HBO would love to see Johnson in camp.

If Ochocinco didn't fit in with the *******s in New England thats a good thing. Only certain kinds of asslickers are allowed to venture up Tom Brady's bunghole and Chad just wasn't one of them...I'm glad he's a Dolphin, now lets see if he has enough left to make the 53 man roster.

Bringing chad directly affects his chances to make the team. He must really be behind

Imagine that...a guy who only knows how to run "9" routes is having issues with other patterns....wow...who would have thought of that?

He's a 6 time pro bowler and has over 1,000 yards receiving in all but 4 of his 10 or 11 year career. He's also a fabulous route runner. Let's not compare Gates to Chad Johnson please. Gates didn't even play football before Abilene Christian and was a poor route runner who seemed to only run 9 routes in college. There is not a route tree that Johnson has not run, so let's stop with the learning to run routes in the WCO conversation.

You don't get his point. It isn't the routes, its the fact he doesn't run the right ones. He doesn't get on the same page with the QB and the rest of the offense because he is dense...

LOL ... oh well, month's of speculation & crazy talk wasted!!

Doesn't even touch on my favorite ... we'll just let the talent rise to fill out our WR "Corpse" ... sub .500 here I comes!! AGAIN!!

AND ... of all the ambulance chasers on the board ... no one wants Chad ... who we can cut if he doesn't work out, but is probably our best WR at the moment. Crap on a Cracker!!

And my point is, unless you think he has early Alzheimer's, he may have gotten slower but he probably hasn't gotten stupider, and his brain hasn't stopped him from being a top WR in the league, so if that's the only problem he has a good chance for a resurgence.

He is in no way a top WR in the league anymore.
