GBN 3 round mock 4/7/14

don't understand why we would take anyone who has popped his acl multiple times with a high pick...that's a medical red flag if i ever saw one

I don't see that happening either. Martin/Sankey is certainly possible, but in the second to take a D lineman? Especially one with injury history, questionable.

I agree, Martin and Sankey are quite possible. Sandwich Borland, Benjamin (dreaming!), or Bryant in there and we are talking!

If the draft developed in the fashion GBN shows I would try to trade down in both the first and second rounds. I would offer pick 19 to Washington, who wants to recoup the first round pick they traded for RGIII, in exchange for their second (34th overall) and third (66th). I would then try to trade Miami's second round pick (50th) to Cleveland for both of their third round picks (71st and 83rd).

That would give Miami 5 picks in the 2nd and 3rd round, with picks 34,66,71,81 and 83. Based on the GBN board Miami could walk away with: Morgan Moses - tackle, Joel Bitonio - guard, Tre Mason- rb, Jaylen Watkins - cb, Telvin Smith - linebacker. Miami would still hold picks in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th to select the best players available.

It may be far fetched, but that's how I would try to play it.

No waay Austin Sefarian-Jenkins makes it to 53 and Nooo way Miami pass on ASJ at 50. Sub ASJ for Easley and we have a draft I can live with.

Dude, you are way over thinking this draft. Keep it simple silly. Draft for need and fit, period!

You may not like Easley, but if he is healthy, he is a immediate rotation guy. With that being said, I concur that his injury history would make hesitant to take him in the second. I also can not see us taking another RB in the first 3 rds.

im good with round 1 and 3. make ASJ or borland round 2 and im a happy camper

Thats very average. Martin i can see, and expect in the 1st, but Easley in the 2nd....no thanks. Steferin Jenkins in the 2nd or Chris Borland (who i dont see anywhere on the board), Yankey, Moncrief, Mewhort, Mason....i could go on....

GBN is a great site. Mocks are mostly garbage on any site.

I don't like Sankey at all. And we already have Miller and Moreno, I'd rather have Jeremy Hill, who they mock the Dolphins passing up on. But Hill is a better fit because he can do what the other two don't do, he has that size and power, plus he can catch.

I don't see it you take Jeremy hill over sankey and you don't take dline at all it won't help this team
