Call out the media, it's only going to get worse for him.

Today Geno Smith the New York Jets quarterback continued to not take responsibility for his poor play this season. Today Geno even went a step further by blaming the media for Misinterpreting his season.

Clearly the pressure, both on and off the field has gotten to him. After the way he closed out last season I was really hoping he would take the next step, it's pretty obvious though that he's going backwards.

Sounds like when he fired his agent during the draft because he wasn't picked at #1. :lol:

Wow. This guy is just a classic. I so hope the Jets keep him forever. After Sanchez left I was a little sad because I feared the entertainment value is gone. That they can actually up one on Sanchez. Incredible. :lol:
 
Well many of us have blamed the fans for our failures so just as silly
 
Let's not overlook the portentious way Geno started the year in January. Is anyone surprised that he played the race card? How different is that than blaming the media or everyone but himself for threatening to unseat his predecessor as the "King of All Turnovers." ???


NY Jets QB Geno Smith kicked off Virgin America flight at LAX after refusing to get off cellphone: source
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., the source said, when LAX Port Authority cops got a call to respond to an incident at Gate 37A. A Virgin America supervisor had already escorted Smith from the gate and both were at their kiosk because the flight had already departed. The supervisor told the cops that the captain didn’t want Smith on the flight.

A source told the Daily News the Jets quarterback was booted off a Virgin America flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Friday because he refused to get off his cellphone after being asked to do so three times by the flight crew.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., the source said, when LAX Port Authority cops got a call to respond to an incident at Gate 37A. A Virgin America supervisor had already escorted Smith from the gate and both were at the airline’s kiosk because the flight had already departed.

The supervisor told the cops that the captain hadn’t wanted Smith on the flight.

“The flight crew asked him to get off his cellphone three times, but he didn’t comply,” the source said, and Virgin America didn’t allow him to reschedule.

“He (Smith) said he didn’t know why he was kicked off the flight,” the source said. “He said it was because he was black. Virgin Airlines refused to re-book him because he was being disruptive.”

This account differs sharply from that of a source close to Smith, who told The News that a flight attendant had ripped off the quarterback’s headphones, initiating the conflict.

Smith decided to get off the plane of his own accord, the source said. Smith was on a flight to Fort Lauderdale, not Las Vegas as Deadspin had reported, the source added.

When asked if there was an incident involving Smith, Sergeant Belinda Nettles with Los Angeles World Airports police said, “I can’t confirm any names or anything because there were no arrests made. But we did respond to a call, and the subject involved was questioned and released.

I wonder who Geno will blame this week. The towel boy maybe? Yeah, can't expect him to throw completions to his OWN team with sweat in his eyes!
