If Rivers, Dalton and Newton can't do it what makes you think he will have a stellar stat line? If anybody beats us on that team, it's Ivory and the Defense. NOT Smith.
 
Jets don't trust smith...they are gonna run the wildcat hell even the qb has caught a pass...if our d can't put 8 in the box and shut down all forms of run and then expose the qb in passing situations when it's all we got to do to shut down that o coyle needs some heat...

This would be easy if our weak side lb play who will be clean to the ball a lot wasn't such a disaster...

The d has got to shut this offense down...the recipe is an easy one

watch for the screens on 3rd and long...
 
I'd prefer Geno not start. He's proven he sucks against many teams, so it'll be even worse when we get beat by him, especially since we will probably have a double digit lead at some point.
 
It's sad when this team is so mediocre that we're arguing about stinking Geno Smith starting against us. Our track record so far would indicate he will have a good day against us (that means he won't screw up anything and play well enough to win). Hopefully though he will suck bad enough to get planted right on the pine again.

I think Jordan can and should handle that job.
 
IMO, having seen the jets & my "esteemed" alumnus qb play all their games the only chance they have
in this game is if this contest is played in somewhat winter weather conditions.........cold, wind etc & us
having no ground game could make it interesting
 
We need to force this game into the hands of Geno Smith and we will win. There's a ground breaking way we can do this, something I've seen teams like New England and Denver do. We need to, not sure I should share this secret with everyone, SCORE SOME FREAKIN POINTS. If we can make the Jets play from behind we're golden. Problem is we'll play their game, slow paced defensive struggle with lots of runs on their side and passing from our side, and more than likely win or lose a last possession game. I know it's hard to believe the 13 Fins would be involved in a last possession type game but that's what I see Sunday.
 
Bad feeling about Sunday...Oh wait, I have that same feeling every Sunday.
 
Geno is gonna hand us the game. Can't wait to see him throw three picks.
