I've read with bemusement all the useless draft-grading rhetoric and have seen nothing but speculation-driven assumptions because at this point that's all the media or fans can offer. YOU DON'T KNOW who will boom and who will bust so before we throw the front office under a bus let's just relax and see how it all unfolds.
I did raise an eyebrow over no DB's being selected yet two running backs were, but I'm not ready to cry or throw a tantrum over it.
The official QB developers for Miami say they like Beck better than Quinn. It took guts to put their job on the line and trust their instincts when they could've played it safe and bought the hype as no one would've faulted them over it. The media's behavior over our picks has been absurd but I understand it. Dolphin FAN behavior, however has been an embarrassment I haven't experienced in all my years of following this team (since before most of you were born or thought of). I think everyone is a little tender, to put it mildly after the Wannstedt & Saban debacles and the obsession to replace Marino with the massive, somewhat inexplicable hype over the Notre Dame kid sent many into a frenzy. We aren't sharks, we're DolFANS. Act like it. Show some class.
