Where was he in games that mattered in recent weeks?

Wake does this far too often. Always liked Cam Wake but him, this offense, this team had a chance to make the playoffs and when that time came . . . nobody showed up.

This. Unfortunately with a ten million dollar salary he will be hard to trade unless he is willing to restructure. Teams aren't going to give us a high draft pick and pay ten million for a quickly aging and slowing player

I would hate to think Wake played great today because of a contract escalation. He just pocketed $750,000.
