packers te finley is a free agent we have needed a te for years now he can finally give us that big play te since keith jackson thoughts?

No thanks. Guy hasn't looked the same after his ACL injury. Poor routes, decreased speed, a huge case of the dropsies.

Finley didn't really impress me this year, especially with the best QB in the game throwing to him and other great weapons around him.

I don't think he is worth the money he would get. Besides, GB will probably tag him if they don't work out a long term deal.

GB Has Finley, Quarless and D.J. Williams (My personal favorite cause I am a Razorbacks Fan as well) Williams is who I would want the most to stretch the field for our Fins!

Yea...

Plus we only have so much money...

Rather use the money on Flynn...

And draft WR/TE/OL/etc...

I haven't seen a whole lot of him, but what I have seen, Tyler Eifert from Notre Dame looks pretty good.

Nevermind...guess he is going back to school.

The guy partially tore his MCL nothing with his ACL. The Packers have said they won't franchise him either. W
This guy is young and he knows the system and i don't care what you guys say he's a stud and we save a draft pick. We have so many holes on this team. He's going to get 5 million per year unless some team goes crazy at him

Well, Zach Miller got 5 yeas and $34 million with $17 million guaranteed, so that would be the starting point of negotiations for Finley.

Not doubting his talent at all, but he has not been the same since his injury. One thing that bothers me is in the playoff game against the Giants, on one of the last drives, he was real demonstrative towards Rodgers when he didn't get a good pass from him. I hate seeing teammates do that, reminds me of T Owens too much.

MCL, ACL what's the difference? They're both in your knee, and they are both pivotal for cutting.

The kid is an unbelievable talent and while he's not perfect, he's only going to be 25 years old next year. If he's available and we can bring him in it'd be a home run.

It never ceases to amaze me how good people think Finley is. He was near the top among NFL tight ends in drops. I've seen a lot of him the last few years, living in frickin Packer country and my wife is a Packer fan. It's funny that all the Packer fans around here tell me that the Dolphins can have him, but most people on this board are so eager for Miami to sign him. Just say NO to Finley. I'd much rather take the top TE in the draft.
