In the spirit of talking about anything ELSE which Linebacker do you think would be best for Miami next year in Round 1. I'm going with ND Jaylon Smith, whose versatility, speed and tackling ability would help against the run and the pass.

also like Missouri LB Kentrell Brothers in Round 2 or 3 altough not sure he's big enough to play MLB. I wonder how high the Temple MLB will rise. he looks like he could be an impact starter as well.

I like the Mattekevech kid from Temple whose name I just butchered.

I like Scooby, Josh Perry, and Joe Schobert too. All can be had beyond the first round.

I like taking an elite DB with our #1 and addressing O-line and LB in subsequent rounds, although I wouldn't be pissed off if we drafted Smith with our first.

I haven't scouted anyone yet or watched any college games. I will look at some guys because I want to see the crop of youngins. We badly need that Stud backer. Hell I would take more if we could.

scooby is my guy, but if we are top 10 you take Smith and dont look back

I'd like to get our hands on CB Hargreaves in the first if possible, and then LB Matakaevich (spell check please) in the second

There's more depth than I initially realized in this CB class. If we could get Fuller in the 2nd I'd rather take a LB in the 1st. Will Likely is a mid-round guy that could be a stud.

I have been a RT supporter but right now I would say BPA out of QB/DE/LB/CB positions and I would be happy

not sure where Myles Jack will land, but talk about a guy who could shut down Gronkowski

Josh Perry in the 3rd would be a steal.

Man I hope we land Smith from ND been watching him all year , watch the Ravens will draft him a pick before us cause we just beat them lol are luck .

At the top of the Draft Jaylon Smith is your guy, but if were are in a position to get Ramsey or HArgreaves...you go there first...

Why?

Very deep LB class...

Here are some video's I posted in a thread I did on defense a week or so ago.

CBs in the first round have a high failure rate. But a great one is a very valuable asset. I would think hard about Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson. A force at DE.

We need 2 starting CB, 2 starting LB, a FS, and 1-2 more staters on the OL. We are surely going BPA.

Didn't mention QB because this FO wouldn't have the balls.

Not BPA because when Miami picks (11th pick is my guess) the best players available will be running backs and wide receivers.
