That comes from Anthony Stevenson, Madden's director of marketing
 
I have used the streaming service the last 2 years. It has had its moments of being terrible, esp. at the start of using it on my PS3. But I have been quite pleased with it for the most part. And coming w/ Madden, is just the cherry on top.
 
This is going to rock...especially if the sunday ticket app will allow airplay to apple tv which I'm sure it will
 
So it says in the fine print that if you are not a direcrv customer but are able to receive service that you will receive a $10 coupon. Is that instead of the computer access password? I live in an area where I can receive directtv but I just want the computer access. Is this deal legit for that? If so I'm on it.

I think you would have to do some convincing. For example, convince them that you live in an apartment where you aren't allowed to mount a dish.
 
I ordered it as well. The offer states that you can stream it from any mobile device or computer, but if you have Directv you can get $10 off the monthly subscription price of the package...if you choose to get the package. Don't overthink it.
 
I just bought it.

Last year I spent $250 on streaming through direct TV. It worked great as I played games on my ipad and streamed them to my TV via AppleTV. They asked if I was in an out of service area, I checked box to say yes. Then they asked for a billing address (not necessarily my viewing address).

With this Madden deal it seems I can get the game + deal for $200 total.
 
From what I understand you can just say you don't live in a directv area or that you can install it in your place. It isn't based on your billing address or anything else and they won't mount an investigation into the veracity of your claim...

Yes it is based on your address...I have not done this but I am positive they are going to check your address and find out if you can get directv..like above say you rent the house or apt and cant have a dish mounted...that should work

just bought it. Hope it works. God I hate DTV. They're such an obnoxious middle man between me and my football. I can't get DTV where I live, and I'm getting really sick and tired of jerry rigging wifi, cables, etc to watch football. This is 2013, WTF!
 
hey do you know if this counts for the playstation too? I paid 300 last year for it so this would be amazing.

I'm positive they will not check your address. I'm speaking from experience as someone who has been on both sides of the fence with having this package with and without their TV service.
