I am SICK AND TIRED of seeing all this negative crap on Chambers. IMO, he could be one of the top 10 recievers in the league. He had 4 pretty good years until this one where he is still on pace to catch about 55 balls with 10 TDs. Get this guy a quarterback and watch him flurish.

If you think the quarterback excuse is'nt a good one. Culpepper to Moss= Greatness. Collins to Moss=Moss' worst year ever. Drew Bledsoe to Peerless Price & Eric Moulds Lee Evens=Pretty good #'s. Vick to Price= Terrible, Losman to Evens or Moulds= Garbage. My point is recievers need good QB's to get them the ball. A good defense in baseball does no good if the pitcher cant keep the ball in the park.

So here lets settle it once and for all, just tell me if you like Chambers or not... i cant figure out how to put a poll on here cuz im new to the site, but someone else should put a "Do you accept Chambers" poll. DONT THROW A GUY UNDER THE BUS AFTER 1 GAME!

I VOTE YES!

I disagree with your post, but poll added.

Gus put the ball right on his hands and he couldnt come up with the catch a number of times in the game yesterday. That is chambers fault.

I like Chambers and he is very talented. However, it doesn't matter what kind of QB he has if he can't catch the ball. He had 4 drops yesterday that could have been caught. It's time for him to be consistent, that's the only thing that's gonna make him a Top-10 WR in this league.

Definitely not top 10.
Maybe top 25. Most NFL receivers make those catches, much less the elite.

Don't know what you want the QB to do, hand him the ball? The frikkin thing was in his hands for christs sake.

Moss has been injured for over one month, that's why he's not producing.
Peerless Price is not producing because he sucks if he is the focus of coverage unlike in Buffalo

and WTF does "do you accept Chambers" mean?

at the moment no. he's overpaid, if he still had his old contract, I would love him , you should live up to your paycheck.

On pace for 55? Ummmm... wow?

Bad numbers. And by my count, if thats what hes on pace for, add at least 9 more catches on balls he SHOULD have caught.

i am sorry but what more can you expect from chambers? iv seen TO drop easy passes too nobody is perfect. im not even comparing him to top 10 recievers but he could easily be top 20. Its not like he was a first round pick that we all expected to be good. To be honest i never even heard of him when we drafted him. A wisconsin reciever who didnt put up flashy numbers because they were a running team. I am happy with chambers performances over the years and agree that all he needs is a QB. Not someone like frerotte who looks good when our recievers make leaping catches and one handed catches. This entire season our recievers have been making great catches.. yes some were easy drops but i hav not seen one decent pass to a reciever all year except Sage's bomb to chambers. I never wanted Sage to play for us but at this point i am willing to take a chance. Marty bookers pass last year looked better than any pass frerotte has thrown. just my opinion.....

Amen to that!! He's been dropping passes since he was drafted. I'm not saying he's a horrible WR, or even a poor WR. However, if he's going to be paid the big dollars then he needs to be catching every ball that hits his hands.

I am not sure what you mean by "do you accept Chambers." But if you mean do I approve of his salary and the way he is currently playing. Then no, no I do not.

I'll start off and say I like Chambers. BUT, he is not worth is salary. He is not a true number one; he makes too many easy drops and hasn't elevated his game consistently enough in the past 5 years.

Can he develop into that elite reciever? Sure he has the tools; questionable if he has the heart? Someday we will get a QB in here who can make more throws consistently and his only excuse left will be void. If he takes a paycut and frees up money to bring in another reciever than I'd be fine with him being a true number two.

Look I like Chambers and think he has some ability, but i'm very frustarted with him. Whenever we lose it's GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS,GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS, GUS and I'm not as critical of him as some fans and here's why. We know what we have in Frerotte, a journeyman QB who's not a starter in this league. Nobody here believes he will be a super bowl winning QB here in Miami and if they do they should be watching football in Fantasy land. I'm not so hard on him because i know what he is. When he makes the big mistake, I get kind of upset but get over it quickly. Now we have this TE and WR who are making all kinds of money and many of us on finheaven believe they are amongst the NFL's elite at their positions. When our crappy QB makes a nice or catchable throw and they don't make the catch, or make the catch and fumble it absolutely kills me. Doesn't it make sense to be harder on the guys who are suposed to be good???

Do you accept Chambers?

What the heck does that mean?
