I am in just sheer embaressment to be on the forums today. Pouncey was the right pick in the right spot. Perfect value, filled a huge need, and will be a stud! I might almost argue that solidifying the o-line was a more pressing need than takin a project QB.

Everything starts with the o-line and I am completely in favor of making sure our trenches are where they need to be. Football is won at the LOS. With Daboll coming in and improved offensive line play who knows......maybe Henne takes the next step like Brees did after his rocky beginning to his career.

The Pick is in, we took Pouncey, now please get over it cry babies!

If I see anymore:

F Sparano,
We'll pick another G,
Weve been had by Ireland,
etc

I think I may die of embaressment of my fellow fin fans. Stop giving us the "fickle" name tag and stand by your team for heaven sakes.

Time to sack up boys, Lets see what Ireland has up his sleeve today.
 
Here's an idea. Don't come to the forums and you won't be embarrassed.

"project QB" is the right phrase because thats what all the QBs in this draft are... if it was a sure fire franchise QB then thats the bigggest need but there are none in theis draft since luck isnt in it but i agree this was the right pick.. Pouncey is a beast

Thats your opinion pal, doesn't mean your right or wrong.

Some of us are tired of safe drafting and tired of this team not going out and getting a quarterback, passing on quarterbacks(Brees, Rodgers and Ryan) to take Jamar Fletchers, or runningbacks and O-lineman.

Right now the lack of finding a top QB is clearly the primary thing that has held this team back for the last 10 years or so.
 
I wouldn't just almost argue that the OL was a bigger need than QB, I would argue it. Good post and good pick.
 
this forum needs to start a new sub forum so people can go there and cry about the dolphins decisions and keep it out of the main forum
 
People that don't know much about football only see skill players. They don't seem to understand that skill players are only as good as the players in the treches. I don't care who the QB is, if he's running for his life he's gonna suck. If the running back doesn't have a hole to go through, he's gonna suck. WRs can't catch long bombs if the QB is dodging defenders. Just ask Ronnie and Ricky who are good running backs, but didn't have a 100 yard game.

Then you clearly don't understand the game of football. Without a quarterback the rest is meaningless.
 
You come on here and read what people are saying and then complaining about what their saying. That's something your just going to have to get over.

I am with you since he has been the GM look at our first round picks....Jake Long who is a perennial pro bowl LT, Vonate Davis who is a freak and a shut down corner, Jared Odrick who is a beast at the 5 technique and will make an impact this year....i will say 2 or 3 on GREAT picks simply because Odrick was hurt last year odds are Pouncey will be a beast just like these guys and FAST just like these guys.

And I like you think there is something sneaky that will happen today

No doubt we need a QB, but none of the QB's in this draft were Franchise guys. They are all projects. I would still rather hit on a Nasty OG than wait 3 years to watch Mallett fade into the nothingness.

That is absolutely ridiculous, nearly every GM in this league agrees this is a quarterback driven league, look at the teams on top in this league, they have QB's, the ones on bottom? They do not.

Are you suggesting the leagues GM's don't know football?
