You draft the best player available, end of discussion. Thats what we did.

the bpa went to new orleans at #28...end of discussion...the qb with the most upside is still on the board...cause he's scared the hell out of teams off the field

so now he's the 2nd coming of dwight stevenson??? i will hold you to that...its ambitious but not unexpected after reading your posts...maybe he is...he better be if he's pick #15

All I was was simply stating is that Dwight protcted Danny for years. Also was pointing out that C has value. And dont try to insult me. You have one arguement "highest picked interior o-lineman in past 10 years". Funny part is its not even your argument. lol.
Fact of the matter: We took the best player available. He fits a need and will be a mainstay on this team for years.

Ingram had a bum knee!!!!!! If you honestly think this FO was going to take a chance on an injury prone RB you have zero grasp on dolphins football, not to mention as you have been saying alll thread that this is a QB driven league, RB are a dime a dozen now.

Why? Maurkice didn't even stay healthy all year. He missed the SB.

Ingram will be a lock for 1,500 yards per year for the next 5 - 7 years. Mallett has the strongest arm in this draft.

Pouncey is a solid player but the fact that this regime is STILL trying to fix the OL after 4 years and tons of money and picks invested already, is just an indictment on this FO anyway.
Ill take that action. No way he ever has one 1500 yard season while hes playing behind Drew Brees. Not to mention you obviously don't understand Nola has Bush, Thomas and Ivory.

Totally, everywhere i look has this as a B/B+ pick even with an A in there. A position of need and a guy who can start right now, Ingram would have been a sexier pick and saying that he will be a 1500 yard guy for 5 years is a STRETCH especially behind this O-line.

I am actually surprised everyone is crying for speedy playmakers but Ingram had a 4.6 40 thats not fast and the reason he was such a beast at Alabama was get this AWESOME O-LINE PLAY :jawdrop: which we dont have but do now....i wouldnt be shocked if we got into the 2nd with picks from next year took a Leshore or Williams and int eh 3rd took like a Jerrigan

i'm not trying to insult you...you are trying to tie a bow around a crap sandwich...if he plays at an all pro level this pick won't hurt as much if not it sucks...i've made plenty of arguments...all valid

how do you know he was bpa??? do you study the draft??? do you evaluate players...or just come on after the fact and spread rainbows??? honest question

dude you fail...ingrams knee was fine...that crap was made up by a team in the late 20's who wanted him to fall to them...ingram even agreed to hand any team a signed letter from dr james andrews stating his knee was clean due to the rumor and he was not invited back to indy for the medical recheck like bowers etc...which anyone with medical concerns goes thru

if you want to argue draft prospects and values etc with me at least have your ducks in a row...it will go much better

Um, but we'll resign Ronnie Brown?... Drafting Pouncey is like buying an alarm system to protect my geo metro

I am in just sheer embaressment to be on the forums today. Pouncey was the right pick in the right spot. Perfect value, filled a huge need, and will be a stud! I might almost argue that solidifying the o-line was a more pressing need than takin a project QB.

Everything starts with the o-line and I am completely in favor of making sure our trenches are where they need to be. Football is won at the LOS. With Daboll coming in and improved offensive line play who knows......maybe Henne takes the next step like Brees did after his rocky beginning to his career.

The Pick is in, we took Pouncey, now please get over it cry babies!

If I see anymore:

F Sparano,
We'll pick another G,
Weve been had by Ireland,
etc

I think I may die of embaressment of my fellow fin fans. Stop giving us the "fickle" name tag and stand by your team for heaven sakes.

Time to sack up boys, Lets see what Ireland has up his sleeve today.

Question what is the biggest difference in the falcons and the fins who began rebuilding the same year?

I agree with you. Two years ago we had good O-line blocking, is it a coincidence our running game was good and Henne played good? Maybe, but last year our O-line blocking was not good and our running game was not good and Henne was not good. I'm not saying Henne will blow up this year and be a pro bowler but with a new O-coordinator and a upgrade at the O-line maybe Henne improves and gets a few more seconds back there.

IF Ingram was the Best Player Available why did he go 13 picks later to the Saints? I reaserch the draft just like everyone else, I also know that NE would have been entertaining Pouncey at 17.

lol, If Ingram was Healthy the Giants would have snagged him at 19. According to you at 15 he was the BPA, so why at 19 did the Giants who are in need of a rb not draft him?

who knows...dez bryant went 24 to dallas last year...he was a MUCH better football player...these teams make mistakes all the time...maybe teams didn't need a rb...miami sure as hell did and they passed up the best one

anyways...if you think that chris ivory and pierre thomas are gonna do anything but get dropped on the depth chart with ingram in town you are nuts...

jeez...i'm not in the war rooms for gods sakes...maybe they think they can resign ahmad bradshaw...i don't know...maybe they felt amukamara filled a need...just wait on ingram...he's gonna tear the league up
