Get Philbin for HC and Flynn for QB on FA.

If they can replicate Flynn's last performance on a regular fashion we are SB material. Rodgers didn't strike me or most coaches in the NFL as a world beater coming out of college, how much does the system have to do with his success? Philbin can place that same system with a QB who knows it and our offense would be the bomb! No way 480 yds 6 TDs can be a fluke, I'd be happy with 1/3 of that on a weekly fashion. I'd also like a speed receiver to complement Marshall in the 1st. round, the Packers have great receivers coming out their ears.

I agree with you, but he might not be interested in a head coach job right now with what happened to his son. He may just spend alot of time with the family.

That's true but he might also want to move out of the city where it all happened and focus his mind on something that will take the bad away. Who knows? You can spin it many different ways.

Heck yes. 6 TD's and 480 yards every game? I'm with you though, makes sense. Wonder if Philbins family tragedy will cause him to not want to take on the additional stress of being a new HC and trying to start a new team.

That's a bit too QB heavy, if we were to draft a QB it would be real late.

I want neither. Philbin doesn't impress me that much. Flynn to me is in a good system that simply makes him look good. He will be 27 yrs old by the start of next season. If you want a qb to be our franchise qb for years to come at that age, I would rather draft Weeden from Oklahoma St. To me he has much more upside and potential then Flynn.

Nah, Moore and Flynn are likely backups competing for 2nd spot. Griffin is the future. This would be ideal.

Why would Flynn re-sign ?? Why wouldn't he hit the open market and choose his own team and go on his own visits?... They will not franchise him either because im guessing Finley will get there tag this year

Dont think Flynn is the solution though. A sixth round pick playing good in two games is not enough to assess him. Could be a product of the offense. He also was playing against a dismal Lion secondary. I watched everyone of their games this and they made every QB look good. If we could do whatever we need to get RG3 this guy could make him a star.
