Get rid of roberto wallace and keep this phillip limas kid!!!

keep livas and wallace both as of right now...go with 3 rb or 2 te's if you have to...to be honest i still haven't seen anything from charles clay other than versatility to warrant a roster spot...jack of many trades master of none so far but i realize his heads probably swimming right now...

Keep Wallace and Livas, release Marlon Moore instead. Hartline already has everything Moore does and better.

yeah...right now you cut moore and if you have an injury to your wr core during the season you can always bring him back...i seriously doubt anyone picks him up on their 53 off our cuts

wallace is showing real signs of development as a wr and with his physical skillset and specials teams prowess someone would scoop him up in a hurry...and continue to develop him as a wr while getting special teams returns

WTH is going on here. The kid has had one punt return, all be it a very good one, against 3rd stringers, and you're ready to throw away a guy who's upside is of the charts for him. Apparently in camp he's doing zero as a WR, he's along way behind Wallace in that aspect of the game.

Livas has a chance to make the 53 if we decide to keep a specialised returner, but I can't see that happening personally, at best he may make the practice squad.

Livas tied the NCAA record for most career touchdown returns with eight.

If he's going to be "spectacular" as you say I wouldn't mind keeping him. If he's going to be "good" as you say I would rather keep Wallace who looked very good his first preseason game. He had what 4 catches for 60 something yards? I was at the game, and while Livas looked good we need to see how he performs against 1st and 2nd stringers before saying he should stay

If we can make it work in terms of roster spots, then I'm fine with him making the 53 as a KR/PR but I just don't see them doing that and I certainly don't see any merit in giving up Wallace for a KR/PR specialist when we already have Gates on the team who could be coached into that role.

As good as that return was, it was one return in pre season, he's still got a lot to prove to make him worthy of a roster slot ahead of Wallace, Moore or an extra RB or TE (remember both those positions are positions of worry right now, so we may need to give ourselves options).

A couple more of those returns though in pre season, then you've got some thinking to do.

Roberto's acceleration is ridiculous. His 10 yard split is 1.47! Gates's split is a 1.54. This kid's physical tools are on par with Andre Johnson/Larry Fitzgerald and if he gets the mental aspect of the game down... watch out NFL.

I think with Brian Daboll's offense we will keep 6 wide receivers.

Livas still has a lot to prove however. Clyde Gates can return kicks too you know.

Saying "the guy hasn't done anything" is about the worst claim to ever make considering the guy wasn't put on the field much until the very end of the year. You can't fault a player for lack of opportunity.

Gates has little experience fielding punts. It showed on the field Friday night, too.

Pretty sure. Livas had 1 good return. I would love to see him again before we crown him a WR in the 4th spot.
Wallace is our #4 WR and has been pretty good. They say he is a younger raw version of Brandon Marshall. I'll take them both in a few years to start opposite each other.
