What a travesty that Miami is paying this guy like someone who actually has heart and is a team player. There's a reason RT can't develop a deep ball and it starts and ends with a WR who the QB doesnt trust. If you cant tell that by now, you havent really been watching.

Alligator Arms. Any alpha receiver pulls down that ball for a touchdown vs the Jets. But not Old One Arm. Consistently shows he can't make the tough catch.

Unfortunately we are stuck with him due to the contract.

He made one mistake, cut him some slack. Still lead the team in receiving.

Beautiful footwork on the sideline..
I hate the drop too trust me..
I would love to have a true number 1 big body Wallace and Landry..
Wallace is really turning into a all around WR.. It will help him stay in the league past 30

Quoting your first post third eye. Ding Ding Ding! Exactly what I'm seeing too!

Funny thread. Get rid of our leading WR. This is more funny then the trade Wake thread. Let's trade our #1 WR and #1 Sack master, and go with a rookie that will take 3 years to bloom. Brillant

Wallace was brought here to take the top of the defenses and he does that.. Now that being said he DOES NOT make that extra effort to make the diving catch on the run.. How many times has the ball been there and all he has to do is go get it.. Keep Wallace and have him restructure along with getting a big WR that can go get the ball and make contested catches.. Like Landry with some speed and big.. I know Tannehill has over thrown Wallace many times.. But more time then not its Wallace who doesn't make that extra effort to go get the ball or try's to one hand the damn thing.. Both are at fault but in my eyes Wallace is more of the problem!!!

Yeah he'd made a career out of the deep pass before he got here so find it hard to believe he's the problem. We're winning without it right now. Enjoy it.

No he didn't. He was a pure YAC guy who used his speed off of slants and the like to do damage. His fly route is just terrible, he never runs it the same way or puts in the same effort. That said, Hartline is far more of a cap and roster waste, the guy has just disappeared.

Wallace's specialty is doing what guys like DeSean Foster and T.Y. Hilton do. It is making plays going LONG. That is the #1 asset on his resume. He proved how valuable he was at that very thing in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, the best part of his game cannot be enjoyed here because our QB cannot seem to hit him deep. Now it seems that the coaches have scrapped the bomb altogether instead of working on it to make it work. It COULD be worth 6 points a game because Wallace can run by ANY corner in this league. This is NOT a Tannehill bashing statement. However, you are not getting to see the true rewards of having Mike Wallace. That is why he was brought here, yet we can't make it work. With this said, I do realize he drops a pass once in a while. Most of the good ones do.

His deep routes looked fine with Big Ben throwing him the ball. When he came to Miami, he was "the most feared" deep threat in the NFL. Which is to say, he was one of the top 3 deep threats. He dropped a TD Monday, but he's still one of the best deep threats in the league. Our QB just can't hit him deep. If I were Lazor, I'd have Tannehill watching Big Ben and how he throws the deep ball - particularly how he used to throw the deep ball to Wallace.
