you know,i was watching the Senior Bowl recap on NFLN earlier,and seeing our coaching staff coaching these guys,i found myself thinking...Tony,Jeff,Bill,and Mike...GET US SOME STUD LINEBACKERS....you our staff is getting a pretty decent feel for these guys by coaching them,seeing how they react to a pro staff coaching&teaching them,talking with them..and Jeff&Bill are probably doing some talking as well...but get us some studs pleaseee...we need stud backers on our defense,and we really don't have that...DE's who can convert to stud OLB's for us...at least one stud ILB,and one strong/solid backup...just GET US SOME STUD BACKERS PLEASEEEEEE...Thank You!!

I honestly have no doubt in my mind that we'll get some studs at LB. They know we have to, we know we have to, everyone does. It's going to happen.

I think we've all recognized this problem by now...

I can't tell you how many people last year were saying, "We all know we need a #1 WR to complement Ginn. Parcells and company will address it."

Pat White and a thousand dropped jaws later, here we sit. With the holes we have and Sparano speaking highly of Akin, it's not out of the question that we use the draft to get a new NT, TE, RB, S, or WR and return with the craptastic combo of Crowder and Akin. Sucks, but public perception and what's going on in that clubhouse are two different things these days.

How is a safety a game-changer, but a stud ILB like McClain is not?
