Saban in the press conference said that they were happy with their top 2 recievers in Chris Chambers and Marty Booker, if he could find someone that would compliment these two WR's they might bring him in. Said it was not a primary priority but a secondary priority.

don't worry..he'll still bring him in..he likes to play around with the media like this..:D

primary priority: C, CB, S right now. C and one S can be from FA
secondary priority: Wr, Cb, Olb all attainable by draft. (that 3rd round pick might be spelling wr)
tertiary priority: FB, younger DT, future DE our 3 7th round picks

Besides Wes, there's no depth. But secondary is #1 right now. How about backup QB?

Can somebody tell me how to start a new thread!!!!

No T.O., and that's fine with me....

Obviously, Saban doesn't think TO's worth it, and I trust Saban's judgment.

Also, would this mean that we won't go WR with #16 draft pick????

Posturing...

Don't believe it...he is merely bobing and weaving here.

Saban got his QB. Who's he gonna throw to? Chambers? Too much invested in a big name big dollar QB to roll the dice on Chambers inconsistent play.

Saban is now focused on a WR and I believe he would pull the trigger on a trade giving Chambers for a starter on defense plus that 2nd rounder we gave up for Pepper.

Dolphins biggest remaining needs are CB, WR, LB, Safety, OL. Saban can get two for the price of one by trading Chambers.

Go.

why do some of u think we need a receiver?? look at Seattle, they only have 2 RECEIVERS. yet they made it far in the playoffs. We have Chambers/Booker/Boston/Welker. Thats 4 receivers who are very good...most teams only have like 1 big name receiver who is very good.

You're comparing Seattle to Miami?

QB
RB
OL
Entire defense

Where is Miami comparable? Miami went 9-7 dude! Seattle was robbed in the SB.

Trade Chambers? What the hell is wrong with some people. If anything, he'll most likely light it up with a qb like Culpepper throwing bombs to him finally. Stop with this Wr stuff, especially T.O. Forget T.O, Miami doesn't need him, and he would cause more problems that good.

If Saban gets T.O. I'd be very surprised and, honestly, I would be questionable of the decision.
