terry shea who is the dolphins new quaterbacks coach has worked with green in kc and brady quinn in arizona i believe fins have there eye on quinn and will get him...........you dolfans?:dolphins: go dolphins........

Ive already come to the conclusion whether we want Quinn or not, Miami will get him. I think we will move up to do it. Between us hiring Shea, whose worked with Quinn and Green, and all the talk of us getting Green, ive come to the conclusion we will draft Quinn.

can somebody answer this question for me . why is brady quinn getting trashed when his offense help 2 years ago left for the nfl ? i like quinn and if we can get him then i am cool with it . i am leaning on the wr meacham bandwagon and getting kolb in the 3rd rd then getting a left tackle in rd 2 .

I definitely want to draft a QB early if we get Green, he'd be a great mentor.

I don't necessarily think getting Trent Green means getting Brady Quinn . . . I still think ALOT depends on where Pep is during QB camp in April. But if Quinn is there at 9, I see us snatching him up, unless a team blows us a way w/ a trade.

i think instead of moving up for Quinn we should move up for johnson. we wouldnt have to give up much more than if we move up for quinn. we could trade 1,2a, booker, culpepper, and 3 next years draft for the no. 1 spot that oak has. the points are pretty equal depending on how the value the players. i heard that oak might be thinking of trading down within the top ten.

Taking CJ before taking a QB makes no sense......how is CJ supposed to get the ball if we have no QB? I know CJ may be the best WR to come out in years, but WR's don't win games, QB's do.

but who is the QB gonna throw to. chambers hasnt been doing much the last few years. we have culpepper or we could pick up carr ( he is a good QB) or we even could take a QB in the later rounds and wait for him to form. carr would be the best solution to the QB situation if we get johnson. johnson is the only player in the draft that i think is a sure star and not a bust. any of the QB could be a bust but carr has proven to be a good QB. he just got stuck behind a horrible line.

I think the more important question would be why is he getting trashed for his defense failing him? Yea, he made some mistakes (which could be his fault or could be contributed to his lack of offensive weapons), but the defense gave up SO many big plays and points that I think it added pressure on Quinn to try and make big plays happen instead of just keeping in rythm and chipping away and staying consistant.

Now, this may sound like a BAD attribute, like he struggles under pressure, but hear me out. I think all the scouts that say that and then say he won't be able to handle the pressure in the NFL if he can't do it in college are overlooking one thing. In college, one loss pretty much means you're not playing for the championship. I think this is why Quinn strayed from the safe plays in the games where they got into some trouble (thanks to the defense), because they HAD to win every game to play for the title, so he tried to do too much to make that happen. In the NFL defenses will definately be harder, but at the same time Quinn will be able to relax a little, or at least calm down a little, because the NFL isn't "one-and-done" like college. You can lose 7 games and still make the Super Bowl.

Now, I'm not saying Quinn shouldn't worry about losing, I'm just saying he can "fight" with all of the tools and everything he has learned at the QB position instead of like a wild animal backed into a corner. What I mean is, when you are comfortable (like knowing a loss is bad but not "you're season is over" bad) you have the ability to put your skills to use, whereas when you are in a do-or-die situation (as in "holy crap if we don't make a huge comback here our National Title hopes are all but gone") your "skills" tend to go out the window and you end up being very unpredictable because you are doing anything it takes to try and win, which could end good or bad (as it often did for Brady).

i think if we pick up green and no carr then we will do what ever it takes to draft quinn first round ( unless it is unreasonable)

Chambers has shown he is capable of being a Pro Bol WR if he just has some consistency at QB. Chambers, unfortunately, is one of those WRs who gets off to a slow start but then breaks out once he finds his rhythm. Well, when you start a different QB every week, and sometimes 2 or 3 QBs play in ONE GAME, how the hell is a guy like that supposed to find his rhythm?

Quinn plus Chambers, Hakim, Booker, Hagan, and Ronnie Brown is MUCH more appealing to me than Green/Carr plus CJ, Chambers, Hakim, etc.

Green hesitates and tries to hard to avoid contact after that hit, and is not the same QB he was before it, plus he was slowing down before the hit even happened. Carr has potential, but he is a QB that is coming from a HORRIBLE experience where he got sacked an inhuman amount of times and took all the blame for the team's failures on his shoulders (when he didn't deserve it), so it will take awhile to restore his confidence and comfort level before we can even ***** what NFL skills he may or may not have. That isn't going to help Chambers any, and if we rely on CJ he will just get double teamed and it won't be very effective, as we've seen in the past when trying to rely on just one go-to guy with a mediocre QB.
