But it is hardly different. Lets see, Dolphin with helmet, orange sun-burst....compared to say the Bucs, Pats, cards, bengals, and so on. It's not like having an Ex-girlfriends name or something. I think people will know its the Fins till the day I die!

well i have my fins tattoo and i love it the guy did a great job and everyone thinks it looks sweet .so if you want to get one get it don't listen to people who say you shouldn't there just jealous and belive me you will love it i do im branded for life fins till i die....... :fire:
 
who cares if someone wants a fins tatt... it just means the team means that much to them. i could see myself getting one. although when my sister heard this she looked at me all weird and said "even dan marino doesnt have a fins tattoo."

Agree, and post a pic of the tat. That's awesome! Jerry Rice has a 49ers helmet tat on his arm. Eddie Kennison has a tat for every team he's played for...and i'm sure there are others.

Good for you man!
I got one about 10 years ago and I haven't regreted it one day since!
It's about the only thing I've considered permanently adding to my body, I bleed aqua and orange for life.
As far as the logo changing, it only shows how much love you really have for the team. One of my best friends is a Patsy Fan, and he has considered getting a retro Pats logo tat, becuase of me, and I think it's a great idea. If I were a Pats fan I'd get the old logo tatted on my arm, how sweet would that be IMO.

I met this guy here in oregon at a sports bar who had the old logo on his one shoulder then he said yeah and when they changed i had to get another and on his other shoulder he had the new logo they were both very nice!
