Getting Polite more involved in the offense.

Seems as if both quaterbacks against the chargers were giving into throwing passes to polite. (mostly check down passes )

I dont know if this is a good thing or not, but Polite is a monster blocker and has been nothing but a pick up the 3rd and 2, 4 and 1 kinda guy.

What do you guys think?

Having a fb who can catch and make tough yards can be invaluable. Remember Heath Evans? Due to our lack of or confidence in passing 15 yards + we are going to have to check it down. Henne needs a fail safe and things to booster confidence. Would not be surprised to see more out of Polite.

polite made some huge blocks against indy and san diego, and he is clutch for short yardage.
