they look like they have some weapons with matt ryan, roddy white, jenkins, finneran, and tony gonzalez...i think they are going to hurt us the most throwing the football down the field against our secondary...our secondary wasn't great last year and it got exposed against leftwich in the 1st half of our last game....what do you all think

I dunno how we will stop turner....i just see him running through our defense like he is tonight...I think we are blitzing too much and not getting to the qb...we are blitzing on running plays and leaving the middle wide open..once he gets pass the front line its over...

I'm gonna agree we have some young guys. Although I'm far more concerned with Brady/Moss than Matt Ryan and company. They looked pretty good against the skins last night.

We are not stout against the run what so ever...and the secondary should be good if the play calls are correct...guys were out of position alot that game

The secondary's performance goes hand in hand with the front 7. If they can generate pressure the secondary should be alright. If they give Ryan all day, he'll pick them apart. My concern in the secondary is Gibril Wilson and VD at the nickel.

I'd worry more about shutting down Turner then Ryan. Once we get a solid lead our pass rush can pin their ears back and go.

for some reason, im not worried at all against stopping the run...i think our front 7 against the run is gonna be one of the best in the league...i am concerned with qbs on 3rd down in throwing situations converting at a very high percentage....just not impressed with our players in the secondary...hopefully im wrong

its a definate concern. they they have weapons all across the board.

Just remember this is a newly assembled secondary. Remember the job Boles did last year? They may start slow but they'll benefit greatly from his coaching and playing together.

im much more concerned about stopping turner. our guys our gonna have to be on their A game with tackling. this guy can break tackles and is quicker than lighting. our tackling has been poor thus far and we will need to bring our best to stop him. 1st game of the season is always an important game. yeah its only one game but it goes along way to get the first one a win. it should be an interesting game and if we can come out with a win ill be pumped. if we lose i will still believe we will be a good team, ill just be overly pumped if we win.

As bad as our secondary looked Atlanta's secondary was absolutely torched tonight by San Diego. It may be a high scoring affair.

guys are panicking too much we are pretty stout against the run, you put too much into preseason games last year the longest run we allowed all season was like 35 yards. tackling is very solid these guys were on dead legs the other night mistakes will happen in that situation. if u watched the game tonight what you should notice is atlanta has a badd defense 300 yards in the 1st half given up and 3 TDs. im pretty confident, we have a good pass rush idk what you guys have been watching we had 4 sacks in that last game and a ton of pressure

Yea but San Diego's receivers are a differant sort than ours. I dont think we can test thier secondary in the same manner. Cobbs may be our best weapon versus them

How can we knock what ATL does in the preseason, but at the same time say what we do doesnt matter?
