Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will remain with the National Football League's Super Bowl champions after interviewing for the head-coaching job with the Washington Redskins.
Spagnuolo, who met with the Redskins for the past three days, decided to stay with the Giants, team spokesman Pat Hanlon said
Hanlon didn't provide details. ESPN said on its Web site that the Giants will give Spagnuolo a new three-year contract worth more than $2 million a year, which would make him the NFL's highest-paid defensive coordinator.
