Giants to give former No. 1 pick Carr one-year deal

Veteran quarterback David Carr agreed to a deal with the New York Giants on Wednesday.
A source said that that the contract is for one year and $1 million with incentives that could increase the overall value of the deal.
The presense of Giants assistant coach Chris Palmer, who worked with Carr in Houston, was a major reason the quarterback chose New York.

I think he developed Ken O Brien disease while in Houston. Anyway, he's reunited with Chris Palmer who had him in Houston so Palmer must not be ready to write him off completely. Gotta love football. Who's produced less than him and he still makes a mil

One thing that may play in Carr's favor is that this will be the first decent offensive line he plays behind. Who knows, maybe those "happy feet" are curable

I think Carr gets a bad rap, he was with some awful Texans teams and was banged up last year. I think he will do well if called upon.

Yeap, Carr's career doesn't even make any sense to me. lol The guy is a very accurate quarterback, yet terrible. Just two seasons ago he completed 68% of his passes. lol
