if Bob Sanders stays healthy, him, Polamalu and Reed are locks to go. there's only three safeties on the Pro Bowl roster, so Wilson's chances are slim.

i dont care about awards like this... i care of championships... i just want him to do what he needs to do to help the Dolphins win games!!!
pro bowl means nothing

making the probowl from the safety position in the AFC might be the hardest in of all positions in either conference. Troy and Ed will both be voted in next year, I can say that with confidence right now. It doesnt matter if Gibril does have a better season. Let's not let him not making the probowl deter us from believing he is a great pickup. We now have arguably the best tandem of safeties in the league. And we are going to need it.

I think we better have a dominant front 7 if theres any hope for someone in the secondary to make a pro bowl. Right now, I don't see it. We only added one LB so far, yes we resigned Crowder, but he IMO isn't an impact player. If anything Crowder is a liability in what our secondary will be. If everything falls into place like many draft experts predict, we will be adding a WR and CB on day one not a dominant ILB or NT, so I really see lttle hope the secondary is going to be a strength next year. Outside of Porter we really have no pass rush.

Wilson wont make the Pro Bowl , not due to a poor season or lack of talent but due to the in-house butt licking and politics that go with the selection of year in year out Pro Bowl players ......

I agree, you need a strong front 7 and the defense is not there yet (getting close I think wade will make a huge impact). However I hope he has a good season, but I don't think he'll be a Probowl selection unless someone drops out from the first group selected.

Lets take it one step at a time.

Yea, I like Wilson, but the guy hasnt even been to a practice yet.

And as another poster said earlier, it is tough making the PB in the AFC when you have essentially 2 hall of fame safties in the conference.

He is definitely talented enough to go (as well as Bell for that matter), but if Reed and Polomalu are healthy they are already in the Pro Bowl. Even if they aren't healthy they will probably make it.

The Probowl is completely irrelevant. After what happened for the fins in 2008, I completely lost all interest in it. It seems that making the probowl only means that you sell a lot of jerseys. It doesn't mean that you are the best at your position.
