This guy is the worst player on the team. He makes both CB's look worse and makes this whole defense look terrible. I hate him with a passion. Even when they put him at SS and put Culver at FS, Tori Holt pulls a double move and Gibril gets burned, that was not Sean Smith's fault. The same thing happened last week against the Patriots when Randy faked inside and ran a deep post for a long TD. BENCH HIM NOWW!!!! Put in Culver or Clemons and see what we got, there is no way in hell either of them play worse than Gibril.
 
How does "Gibril get burned" when it was Culver who was the safety that got toasted....not Gibril. Your logic escapes me.

Go watch it again. They put gibril at SS and culver at FS, the play went to the SS's side.
 
Culver saved the from being a TD, Wilson bit on the double move, Smith wasin perfect position. Uncapped year = Wilson job hunting!
 
Wilson is the worst player on our defense
his miscues have caused both Sean Smith and Vonte Davis
to allow 621 yards for Smith and 692 yards allowed to Davis

This team needs a ball hawk free safety and a game changer at inside line backer...Clemons may be the answer but with Sparano who knows when Chris will get playing time
 
I don't know why we take Yeremiah out in passing situations. He had one of his best games in coverage all year today. Maybe he is better when manned up on TEs and struggles playing the deep zone that Gibril effed up. Still, he can't be worse than Wilson.
 
I actually think he has stepped his game up in the last few weeks..
He has lapses but he also plays the run very strong.
I wouldnt mind seeing him go at all but I dont see how Akin is not the worst starting D member.

I agree. gibril has gotten better but still makes some mistakes.

I think people do not want to touch Sean Smith. Who just cannot seem to tackle or cover somone without taking his eye off the prize.

Fans on here blame the same people all the time but its a team thing most of the time. Our DB's screw up, but then they have been making plays too.

Our D played very well today. We won. I dont get the constant criticism on a 14-10 win on the road vs. a playoff caliber team while holding drew to 50 yards.

I have been saying the same thing to my friends since the season started. Wilson is constantly getting burned, not wrapping up, missing tackles and just not being in the right place.

He has made one good play all season long and that was lighting up Mark Sanchez on jet;s first drive in NY.
