That what he did against the Panthers, and that's what he did here at Georgia. He is unreliable, he stated at Georgia that he is afraid of getting hit, he doesn't even really like football, basketball is his preferred sport, and he definitely has big time character issues. I am a big Georgia fan, and I saw a lot of behind the scenes stuff. We don't want him. Sure he's fast, but he will drop 2 or 3 easy passes a game when it counts.

that throw by joey on 3rd and Long was beautiful, Gibson had an easy over the shoulder catch with room to run and he flat of dropped it. That hurt man. Oh well.

Funny, he wasn't afraid get hit the last two games. He was able to catch quite a few big passes in the last two games. How do you know he didn't just have an off game?

dont matter how many good games if u have a bad 1 its cuz you suck !!:D

Whoever wants the Dolphins to cut Gibson for one drop pass must be a fan of another team in need of a reciever or is clueless.. Probably both I bet.

Gibson should make this team as the # 5 wideout. He wil be a assest to us weather it is on special teams or filling in for some other wr.

Well, I for one agree with the original poster on this one. Gibson has a long history of dropping way to many passes that are important, maybe game changers. I also watched him in college alot since my daughter goes to UGA and that is his M.O. It wouldnt bother me even a little if he was cut/ traded to make room for a WR with some heart. We as fans tend to love any one that is a Phins player if we dont know that much about them. Cut this guy or trade him. It WILL come back to haunt us if he sticks.

It is unfortunate he dropped that pass. I think if he catches it he is a lock. Now i'm not sure. Saban has some very hard decisions to make.

I am the biggest Dawg fan in the world and I love Fred Gibson. He has the size and speed to be a very good reciever.....He just needs motivation and thats Sabans job.

Besides should we fire Wes Welker for fumbling on the first punt return? No......shyt happens sometimes.

Should we fire Chris Chambers, He drop plenty of passes.....Hell no!!! That's our man.

Gibson has been more impressive than our 3rd rnd pick Hagan.

I always love a good counter-arguement. I think Gibson should be given a definite consideration for the 5th WR compared to the rest, but he would not see alot of PT in that spot anyways IMO since Wes is getting alot of PT as third WR still. I know alot of people may disagree, but Vick may give us some return duty ability to give Wes some breathers so he can concentrate on WR position because i think Saban wanted to have WW do all return duties and less WR but now that is not going to happen so.........IMO its between Vick and Gibson and we just may go with Vick because Mularkey can use him and mainly ST.

I like Gibson he seperates himself from the defenders well and finds ways to get open.

So, according to your logic Ronnie must suck because he had 13 attempts for 27 yards...

I like Gibson, but I've seen him drop 2-3 easy passes in three games.
