Giftwrapping the playoffs for the Jets

I don't know about the rest of you, but I strongly feel if we start Lemon we would be giftwrapping the playoffs for the Jets. Let's do our darndest to beat the Jets and play spoiler. Start Lemon agains the Colts. They're already in and it wouldn't matter. I do agree Lemon needs to get playing time. I am just willing to sacrifice that for spoiling the Jets playoff hopes. What do you guys think that voted yes on the poll? If you still feel Lemon should start, tell me if I am just being too big of a homer here.
 
AGREED this is a nationaly tevevised game lets show that this year was a bunch of garbage. I wanna win this game sooo bad. And if we get down by 17 early then put lemon in but if we got a shot to win well we gotta take it

simple as that
 
I hate losing to the Jets too. But finding out if the kid can do it or not is more important to me right now.

If the Jets make the playoffs, they make the playoffs. Give them credit for a job well done. They're probably not good enough to be true Super Bowl contenders, and a couple of years from now it may not matter that they made it and we didn't. I'm more interested in the future of our franchise.

Either way, Harrington's starting so it's probably a moot point.
 
So if we beat the Jets are they mathematically eliminated? Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE......HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!! GO FINS!
 
I rather lose and get them next year ...Lets try to get a nice 1 rd draft pick ....and whoop them next year..
 
If I was 'Phins player, the only thing that would stop me from making sure the Jets don't reach the playoffs is if God or Jesus came down personally to my doorstep and told me not to, draft pick be damned.
 
Cleo played better than Joey last weekend, so how would playing him be throwing in the towel?:dolphins:
 
Well the jet's got the help they needed with the jags & cincy both losing that's what i call gift wrapping the playoff's for them and if they win tonight you can put a bow on top of that gift.:shakeno:

Who doesn't want to beat the Jets, but also who's to say that Harrington's the better QB? Harrington did better then CPEP, because PEP wasn't ready to come in. We have a decent team & Joey isn't the answer. He's a good veteran back up QB... and that's it. I don't know if Cleo's the answer, but I truly hope he gets some time in there this week because w/Pep in question we may be looking at a complete overhaul at the Helm. Cleo did look better in Buffalo, but my sister would've looked better then Joey who was horrible. I was at the game and couldn't believe my eyes. You've got to be able to play in all conditions. Lossman was able to throw. So don't get to hung up in thinking that Joey gives you a better shot. For all we know Cleo could come in throw for 300 & 2 TD's. So I hope if Joey's throwing picks or at peoples feet, that we get to see Cleo & evaluate him. I hope whoever the better QB is come's in a destroys the Jets & their chances.

then they're pretty much outta it riite?
 
Saban is committed to Joey. If Lemon gets to play, it will be the last quarter when the game is out of reach and the whole team has quit. No need of injuries at the end of the season.
