I can see us NOT resigning him as Ireland and Philbin will say, "he was a luxury" (e.g., Bush) and "we have two promising young corners who took in early rounds last year" who need to step up, etc, etc, etc... I can see it now. I hope we resign him - but I'm not going to be surprised if we low-ball him and he goes elsewhere.

Wouldn't he be paid around $11 million if franchise tagged? I hope we can franchise him or work out a deal, but we also need help at LT, DT, LB's, maybe getting another RB, and also a TE.....we won't be able to get all of this through the draft, especially with whats-his-face running our draft. :rolleyes2:
