reason to why Ginn may be our guy....he is verstaile.

he loves to play CB and wants to again and saban loves guys that can play multiple positions.

Ginn can be our KR guy if saban doenst mind rsiking injury on that department, our CB if he plays there b/c he can make plays on the ball (due to being a WR), fastest man i have seen (loll) and its his original position so means he has what saban wants in a CB..as for tackling i dono how he is there.

WR he can be our home run guy. the game breaker, stretch the field man and put CC in the same area so now we got 1 speedster and 1 superman on the field at the same time so u can't really double team unless u want mcmike or RB/welker catching balls as well.

I like Teddy Ginn Jr, very fun to watch...But we need a Big Reciever that can be that third down go to guy who makes the catch consistantly...If we get Teddy Ginn i think we would have to say bye to chris chambers...

I'd be completely fine with that.

Why not team Chambers up with Ginn? Why have only ONE deep threat on the team?
Then again, what good would have any deep threats on the team if the QB cannot get them the ball at the right time.

Getting rid of Chris Chambers would be a mistake. The guy has not even reached his prime in this league. Everyone has a down year and Chris Chambers wasnt given as many chances as he deserved because we just werent in the position to do so. We have many more needs than at WR. Although, we will draft a WR, it will more than likely not be in the first round (or second).

man, I watched a 7 minute video someone put up last night...he is like a MAN among boys... I can't recall such a difference in speed since Deon.

yea i know. run a crossing route and let him outrun the entire stadium basically.

So is Calvin Johnson these guys will be recievers that our going to take the league by storm immediately! I think they are playmakers and will make immediate impacts!

I haven't seen Calvin yet...lotsa time now.... argggg

Actually, we'd have to say goodbye to Wes Welker.

Oh well...see ya Wes...I'd rather have the speedy Ginn than the slow and midget Welker any day...plus, if Welker demands too much money...I'd rather draft Ginn and restructure Booker than re-sign Wes to a big contract...

I think Ginn would be a huge mistake to take with the 9th pick in the draft. I agree with your assessment that he is versatile and would tremendously improve our return game. Although, I doubt he will be playing CB in the NFL as you seem to indicate in your post. I do think getting a true #1 WR is our biggest need and Ginn has not shown that he is capable of that. He can make some spectacular plays due to his speed, but he can disappear for 4 or 5 games at a time.

For example, his first two games (N. Illinois and Texas) he was solid, but was really only a factor as a WR in 1 game out of the next 9 and that was against Bowling Green. He did close out the season nicely against Michigan, but then look what Jarrett did when he got a chance. I am not saying he isn't any good, but definitely think Ginn would not be a good value pick that high in the draft.
