Ginn for carroll. Marshall for egnew. Bess for gillislie. Davis for taylor#fireland

The problem has not been letting these guys go to stockpile picks. The problem has been who was picked with the extra draft picks!!! So yes Fireland

This is probably why people get frustrated at the trades.

I've watched quite a few Indy games. Davis has been burned A LOT one on one.

Not sure how Vontae did Thursday night but was beaten repeatedly against the Rams the week before. Badly.

and the Texans before that

Ginn is garbage and Vontae is dumb as a rock. Just because they each have a good game on national TV (actually Ginn had a good play but otherwise played scared as usual) does not make them real valuable players. That being said, I miss Marshall, Bess, and Bush. Tired of Ireland. Get rid of him.

His Wonderlic scores would indicate otherwise.

If Ginn has had a solid NFL career then Carroll is a HOF.

Ginn averages.....

1.8 Receptions per game
25 Yd/Game
0.09 TD's/Game

Yeah....stellar career.

Ginn. Lol

Got lucky on a simple hitch play due to poor tackling.

The defender was probably just as shocked as I was that Ginn didn't run out of bounds after he caught it...he was caught totally off guard.

There are dozens of moves that Ireland should be fired for, but Ginn, Bess, and Davis are not part of that equation....

His drafting using those picks is very questionable, but trading those players away are not an issue

Well if we are going to judge intelligence just by the Wonderlic score, I guess Vontae is smarter than Peyton Manning. All hail Vontae Einstein.

Just saying the guy probably isn't an idiot just because we traded him.

The only one on that list that pisses me off is the Brandon Marshall trade....stupid to get rid of a top 5-10 WR in the NFL for 2 thirds....
So . . . we're blaming Ireland for trading Marshall? I've never heard Philbin complain about that trade, which happened before he even coached a down. I'd say, if Philbin ever thought Marshal was a Philbinball player, and Ireland let him go, Ireland would have been fired LAST year. Since that didn't happen, I'm gonna have to assume Philbin had just as much to do with the Marshal trade as Ireland, and maybe he pushed for it.

He was beaten by us in our game against them in a goal line stand. His job was to contain anything heading to his side. Sure, it was a running play, but it was still a major FAIL.

Ginn cost the 49ers a couple of games for the same reasons he was run out of town here.

No thanks.

Up until last season, this board viewed Hartline as a bust. Up until this season, Clay was considered a major bust. Gosh, it's amazing to me how no team but the Dolphins spends time developing their drafted players. *sarcasm* :bobdole:

I said it was a bad trade value wise....which would be on Ireland...
