Ginn had 2 nice catches and saved a pick six . . . . he looked very timid on kickoff returns tho . . . he has gotta cut and go. I think Atlanta's coverage was great tho . . . Cobbs came in and had the worst return of the game . . . and he actually was pretty decent on kickoffs last season.
Ginn was open several times . . . we don't have the QB to get him the ball. The one who probably can the best, was the 3rd stringer today.

I don't think he looked timid on kickoffs as much as he just had nowhere to go because of atrocious blocking.
someone needs to tell that numb nuts to stay in the end zone when he catches it there. How many freakin' times do you have to get tackled on the 10yd line before you decide you probably can't make it to the 20 or better.

Ginn is horrified of contact. He reminds me of Shaun Alexander after his MVP and big contract. I know he's not a FB but for the love of every thing holy.......ITS FOOTBALL! Theres contact, man up your getting paid millions.
I haven't seen a complete QB either . . . until I do, I can't ever fully get on a guy like Ginn. Just like I could never really get on Chambers with the QB's he had and the multiple head coaching and offensive coordinator changes.

now that i'll give you. penny limits ginn so much but when ginn does have the ball in his hands he needs to go forward and stop trying to lay down as soon as he gets the ball.
as a kick returner he's just not ballzy enough. you need 1 cut and get upfield ginn looks to me like he wants to keep his uni clean.
I agree. He's afraid to take hits and always slides, backpedals or ducks out of bounds when defenders are hunting him down. You can't really blame him however, he is a small dude. And we have to get used to it, because he's our #1 receiver.
