Did Ginn even touch the ball last week? How can we get this guy the ball? I say lets use him or trade him........

Yeah, he touched it. And gained us a whopping -1 yard gain.

The kid's in trouble. He needs more games like the Chargers, with consistency or he'll be out.

Ginn might be in a lot of trouble with this organization. It really sucks, because I really do like the guy. He is the only current Dolphin that I have a jersey of, lol. He is not returning punts/kicks and he is only getting like a couple of touches a game. Cameron should not have drafted him at 9, he is a project. We needed someone to come in and have and immediate impact, which Ginn had no chance of doing. He has potential to be great in this league, but he is really raw. There is a normally a 3 year period before we really see development for receivers. Hopefully Ginn can get it together, we really need another steady receiver beside Greg Camrillo.

He shouldn't be shown the door.

I think it was the Cardinals game when Henne came in that Ginn started getting balls thrown his way. For some reason we just don't look his way. I think that's the real problem here. Pennington loves his tight ends and apparently Camarillo. It's not that Ginn doesn't get open it's that he just doesn't get enough chances to make plays.

On a side note, there isn't a reason at all why he isn't out there returning kicks. Even if it's just punts. I mean DeSean Jackson is doing it and he's not looking so bad now is he?

Ginn has been nothing but mediocre since neing drafted. Man did CAm F this one up useing our 9th overall pick on kid with such little experience at wideout and the size of a small slot reciever.

I aslo agree that this kid is in a lot of trouble with this regime. He is to timid and scared to play at this level, he is terrified to take a hit. Bill and Tony like tough players and Ginn does not fit that mold at all. We are paying him a ton of cash to be mediocre at best. I don't see our front office hanging on to another piece of Cam Baggage especially when he's bringing no value to our team.

To be honest, I think Derek Hagan is better than Ginn.

Ginn's been playing timid this year... lot's of fair catches and non-catches on kick returns. Running out of bounce to avoid the hit. It seems like he's afraid of contact. It wasn't like that last year.

Ginn is looking more and more like a situational player... a guy who can come in on the middle of a drive, with fresh legs... and you tell him to go long... and then you take him out of the game on the next play.

Based on what? Besides his speed he has shown nothing to differentiate him from every other mediocre wr in the league, IMO. He seems to fear contact, I've never seen him not go down at the first touch by a defender.

I also think that his circumstances are against him in 2 additional ways. This regime wants toughness, and he ain't tough (see the San Diego game where he twice ran out of bounds to avoid contact when the game situation dictated turning into it). Also, because his main weapon is speed, he needs a strong armed qb to be able to take advantage of deep routes. I doubt that he'll last long enough to see Henne starting, and Pennington doesn't have a strong arm.

Everybody that is clamoring for him to return punts and kicks, obviously he is giving them reason not to use him. Especially on punt returns, I think the toughness thing is an issue- he lets punts hit the ground that he should go get, but I think he fears the hit. Kickoff returns, there's an argument for- no decision to be made, just get the ball and run. But I'm not at practice and don't have all the info the coaches have. There's a reason they don't trust him with it.

Teddy Bear... Not tough, not smart, not aggressive, just soft between the ears.

WR's tend to prosper in their 3rd year not after 1 or 2. We need to put him returning kicks and get him involved in the gadget plays we love to run while we continue developing him as a WR. To not use him returning KO's and punts is just stupid and we need him back there on every one.

Funny thing that he never had a problem last year or this preseason when he taking them back for TD's.

Yea, man I didn't trust him when he ran back that opening kickoff against Florida (a team with NFL speed and strength) in the National Championship game less than 2 years ago, and then gets hurt by his own teammate in the endzone celebration and completely CRIPPLES Ohio States offense as they ended up getting destroyed by Florida.

I didn't trust him on his 3 returns last year (tho 2 were called back on BS calls by our horrible special teams) or the return he had in the preseason where he completely out ran any attempt to tackle him.

We have seen this before . . . Chatman over Ronnie? Coaches can be wrong . . . and Tony Sprano and company is WRONG for not putting Ginn back there, I'm sorry, they are wrong . . . and BP and company are known for being hard headed with certain players and situations.

Ginn is electric, and I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea what the problem is . . . all this BS that he can't catch good . . . we ALL know that is BS, because he RARELY drops anything . . . in fact, I don't recall him dropping many catches at all . . . he had the HUGE catch on third down against San Diego . . . took a punishing blow and held on . . . hey that doesn't seem like someone who is dodging contact . . . wow because he ran out of bounds . . . that has more to do with him not having better sense of the situation than being scared . . . he needs to work on that . . . but he is only in year 2.

Maybe he doesn't get great seperation . . . I dunno, but I think its obvious that the lack of arm strength with Chap P is a definite issue . . . and you know what . . . Ginn needs to adjust . . . not Chad P . . . he needs to do more to get open for his QB. Henne is not in there yet, and Chad P has run the offense brilliantly . . . so Ginn needs to change whatever he is doing and try getting open more for his QB, forget those fly routes . . . quick slants and quick outs . . . and use that speed wisely. He will get it, it may take longer than we may like . . . but just have patience.

i agree if we are not using him trade him

he's hard to use without a good deep ball, Pennington has been great but he has no deep ball unless the guy is like wide open like Cobbs was last week and did you notice Cobbs had to slow down for the ball to get there. for now we can only improve his route running, throw him screens and put him in on kick offs for god sake
