Ginn lost us this game

No the D lost us this game. Ginn just didn't win it when he had the chance.
 
This is a stupid thread. I just don't have the energy to argue. That loss hurt pretty bad.
 
We need to play Ted Ginn's family at WR.

Yea well Gibril Wilson looked absolutely terrible today...The guy couldn't make a tackle to save his life. Ted Ginn has to make that catch but it's incredible that manning completes 14 passes for 300+ yards on short and medium length passes. The tackling was atrocious.

imo our offence did there job and as for ginn no wr catches everything throwed there way not even TO or moss imo it was our defence that didnt live up to the play not the defence line it was our lbs and dbs that didnt make there tackels and let manning score in big buches in yards we just couldnt stay on colts TE and he made us pay :tumbleweed:
 
listen i know our pass d looks like a joke but in my opinion ginn could have caught both of those TD's. i thought it looked like he slowed down too much instead of sacrificing his body on the first one. we need to fix our pass d though
 
yea the defense lost this but Ginn needs to make those catches, plain and simple. Today he had his chance to make some big plays and he didnt capitalize.
 
Today Ginn showed why he may be a good #2 and why he isn't a #1.
 
try 27 points in 14 min... and the go ahead touchdown in 32 seconds 80 yards... **** that bro he had to come back to the ball i wish he would have caught it to quiet all the nay sayers but it aint his fault we lost he doesnt play defense..
 
Ginn didn't cost us the game. The D did.

But I am sick and tired of hoping our WR projects will someday be a legit #1. WE waited with Chambers, now we wait for Ginn to show us something. He didn't tonight and I am afraid the verdict is in.

Good #2, but not the #1 WR we need.

Look for that position to be drafted next April.
 
Ted Ginn is a #3 WR at best. Maybe if the team had a QB with a stronger arm he could be a decent deep threat, but he will never be a legitimate #1 wide receiver. This team lacks a QB that opposing teams fear, and has no WR that opposing teams fear. Also the Linebackers are either old, slow, one dimensional or just plain suck, and Gibril Wilson is looking like the second coming of Ernest Wilford as far as free agents go. Hopefully Porter,Taylor, Torbor, and Ayodele are gone next year and this team concentrates on finding some young Linebackers with an upside. Priority in this years draft and free agency have to be WR, LB, DT, S, and of course once again QB.

Ginn is our #1 WR and a top ten draft pick and the supposed savoir in waiting for this offense. When we're down by 4 points with less than a minute to play in the game and Pennington his him in the hands in the end zone, that's failure.

Ginn isn't the only culprit...coaches getting all conservative in the 4th quarter, Our middle linebackers and safeties acting like they'd never seen a tight end before, let alone covered or tackled one.

Why does it feel that every offseason we have such gaping holes to plug and not enough draft picks to fix them???
